It looks like Troy is "Jackson County Administrator" which seems like it would be just a step below Executive.

It’s a legitimate question. He can choose to answer or not. Either way, I don’t think he needs you to say anything on his behalf.

He was the city manager under Sly I think Q pretty much ran him out when he got elected. I think his position is kinda controversial because he's the highest paid Jackson County employee

Lucas the Landlord complaining about his taxes, that's funny.

Bout to raise the rent bigtime on some poor brown folk I'd guess.

This man should have never been voted for to begin with.

88% increase.

I have the most valuable property in my entire area. Even more valuable than the larger homes, newer homes, better equipped homes, more recently remodeled homes, more fireplaces, new roofs, etc.....according to the Jackson County assessor.

I'm gonna blame Trump!!

LOL these assholes. Government incompetence and pigheadedness at it's finest.

Just talked to neighbor who had no idea about this, and she went and checked.

She went up even more than I did (60%) and her house isn't as nice. She's going to appeal Monday.

Inspector 07-07-2023 07:19 PM

Contact Jackson county officials and urge them to adopt the restrictions noted in SB190 that Parsons signed today. (Freezes the amount of property tax to what it was when you turn 65 or started SS or something like that. Helps old people like me.)

Although, I doubt Jackson county would ever consider it but I'll keep my fingers crossed anyway.
