There are definitely things Foles does that you like after watching Smith for a couple years, such as the fact that Foles was throwing deep going for the TD in the 4th quarter after we were up by 10... Normally this offense is in run out the clock mode in that situation. Whether or not Foles is actually better or not than Smith at this point, its hard to say.

I'm sure Smith will be starting next week if he's healthy. If he has to miss a few weeks, then things could get interesting if Foles continues to play well.

Then teams adjusted for him and he got exposed. Matt flynn had a good run too buddy. This is why you don't coach football and probably have never played the sport

Yeah, but that was for Jeff Fisher and the Rams.

A ton of established viable QB's would struggle in that sitch...no offense.

Reid will not bench Smith after a temporary injury.

Hopefully Alex is okay and will be back at the helm next week. :thumb:

I like his deep ball but for Christ sakes does he execute small and intermediate passes poorly

Matt Flynn had like 2 or 3 games.... not a comparison.

Different but similar level

Since Alex Smith is no longer using his legs, we might as well roll with Foles for awhile

The first season after that was with Kelly in Philly.

The Rams offense is shit because Fisher believes in being a run oriented team without completely making the offense based on it (i.e:Having a legit fullback instead of a blocking TE). Austin, Britt, Kendricks, etc. are weapons that Foles had at his disposal to go along with Gurley.

Derek Anderson once threw 29 TDs to go along with 19 INTs in a season. Do you think that one fluke of a season means he should be starting?

Whoever starts, we'll be fine. They both have strengths and weaknesses that equal out.

People like you are no different than this blackbob guy you complain about nonstop.

shut the **** up and watch the game instead of always trying to start a fight with someone you don't like

dickhead

I was enjoying watching the game until a ****ing fat reerun with floppy drooling lips sat next to me talking shit about Smith haters

Then when I went to take a piss, found the same hairy coke bottle glasses wearing dipshit , wearing a 19 chiefs jersey with LAZ taped on it with white duct tape jacking off in the bathroom mumbling about Foles 'going deep'

Then explain Foles' horrendous transition into that 2nd season? He is not a well rounded football player. Deep balls look great against Indy but against the good defenses, he will shrivel up and crawl into a ball when he can't execute the other throws.

Not after one week, no. But if Alex was out for 3 weeks or so, and Foles played well? I could see it happening. We know Andy loves Alex, but from what we've heard Reid was trying to get Foles as well that offseason.

I'm not completely on the Foles bandwagon, his style of play has some obvious drawbacks. I'm sure after Foles inevatibly throws an interception there would be a lot of fans calling for Alex to come back. I'm glad he looked good today, though.

Has Jeff Fisher ever had a Qb play well except for the late McNair? He sucks with Qb's
