Have you guys actually watched Paxton Lynch's game tape or are you guys just jerking off to any QB?? He will not be a good NFL QB, he screams Bust. KC needs to draft a QBTF but Lynch is not it. Also noway he makes it past LA. You guys are so desperate to draft a QB that you think players like Geno Smith, Manziel, and Lynch were legitimate NFL QBs.

Also do you really KC would draft a QB in the 1st round?? They have had 3 straight winning seasons and a serious contenders this year. Drafting Lynch or any QB in the 1st would be absolutely stupid. You guys need to draft a player that can come in and contribute. Not a boom or bust QB. You guys are in win now mode not lets develop a QB mode. Even if you draft a QB you are not starting him for another 2-3 years.

Also I doubt Andy is going to want to start fresh with a rookie QB. This is his last coaching job. He has maybe 5 years left, he wants a Super Bowl

Going to the playoffs 2 out of the last 3 years didnt make you guys give a shit anymore?? Having a right open division and conference doesnt get you excited??

You guys and your drafting a QB obsession crack me up. Cleveland drafts a QB every 3 years in the 1st, how has that worked out??

Here is some game tape on Lynch... You guys complain that the offense is boring now, most of Lynch's passes are under 5 yards
Does this look familiar??

BTW guys I am all for KC drafting a QB but not Lynch.. Go get a QB and develop him behind Smith.

To his credit Lynch has the arm to stretch the field ( timed at 59 MPH on the speed gun which is equal to Bray's) unlike Alex.

That fact that both Coach Reid and GM Dorsey have a history of drafting a QB high (Kolb 2nd round & Rodgers 1st round) while their respective teams still had an established starting QB with a successful team around them lends credence to Lynch to KC.

I'm not saying don't draft a QB.. I'm saying Lynch is imo a bust unless he sits for awhile with the right coach. I just think a QB in the 1st is a bad idea. You guys have bigger needs. You guys should go either WR or CB. A QB in the 1st doesn't help you. Is the thought of having Gaines as your #2 CB or Streeter as your #2 WR sound like a good idea??

Get a QB in the 3rd (if you get it back). That at least relieves the pressure from fans and let him develop.

Also Dorsey is simply doing this for a couple reason. Create smoke so somebody trades up in front of KC and a player falls to KC.

Btw he is not making it to #28... Jets and Rams needs a QB. Also Denver would trade up. Now if some miracle you draft him, he needs to sit behind Smith for 3 years.

I have been to a game where he was playing this year. Yes his stats were good but he did not look like a NFL ready QB.

QB's in the 3rd round are wasted 3rd round picks.

And if he needs a few years to groom under someone it sure would be better if he did that somewhere else for sure. We can trade for him after someone got his best out of him and no longer wants him around 2025-2030.

Hey, give him a break, he has brain damage from playing football when he was 15. Or maybe it was lacrosse in college. Anyway, his doctor has assured him he is going to have Alzheimer's and be in a wheelchair by the time he's 50.

This is the exact same reasoning KC operated under 11 years ago in opting for Derrick Johnson over Aaron Rodgers.

In regards to Lynch's visit.. No way it's nothing more than the FO doing their due diligence with the added boon of seemingly like a credible threat to draft him on the slim chance he makes it past Cleveland, Philly, St. Louis, Dallas and any other QB-needy team.

If he's still on the board at 28 and there wasn't some outstanding hit to his draft stock, I'd be willing to bet real money that pick gets flipped to a team drafting in the early in the second that missed out on Wentz or Goff.

The franchise doesn't take QBs early. They won't take a risk on a non-safe pick like Lynch.

Agree for the most part but lets not be comparing Aaron Rodgers to Paxton Lynch in regards to draft position. Rodgers was supposed to be the #1 overall on most teams boards. Lynch is not rated higher than 3 or 4th in this class.
Also think you can scratch the Browns off your list after they just signed RGIII to be their starter. The Eagles signed Bradford to big money and Daniel, they are not drafting a QB early.

The Browns are taking a QB at #2.....bank on it.

And Sam Bradford and Chase Daniel are no reason to pass on a QB.

Eleazar 03-25-2016 12:00 PM

There is no reason whatsoever that the Chiefs would spend a high pick on a QB to replace one who has 3 or 4 years left. It's a complete fantasy.

Alex Smith is not going anywhere, and the team has plenty of needs.
