Why not? Why are we the only team that can't restructure contracts? And why is the Tyreek extension taking so long? That would free up space.

After the Robinson signing, I expect the other WRs to start to sign over the next day or 3.

Of course Veach has earned the benefit of the doubt.

But there is no way the Chiefs are realistically filling all of their needs through the draft and the urgency of those needs are heightened now with how aggressively better the AFC West and AFC in general have become.

You’re going to have holes on your roster, it’s a fact of life. I get the concern, I don’t get the hyperbole and saying things like the dude can’t build a roster, or the freaking out about a lack of moves when there’s plenty of time left in the off-season.

If we checked with the Rams on any of their WRs....I'd ask what it would take to get Van Jefferson.

Lol they'd trade older, injured Woods or older, injured, franchised obj before younger, cheaper Jefferson

I read that as not.

I understood the point to be if we spend $15M AAV on someone not as impactful as AR he’ll be disappointed. I agree.

Robinson as WR2 would have caused *problems* for defenses.

$15 million/yr for our #2 wideout?

Jesus - how much were you prepared to spend on our third receiving option?

I’ll be disappointed if we sign Bradberry as I don’t think his impact to the team winning and losing games would be anywhere close to the impact Robinson would have made.

And I bet the structure of that deal for AR is crazy good.

I don't see them spending $15M AAV on any player right now.

I know AR is older and all, but I’m disappointed we couldn’t get him for that bargain deal.

I honestly think the Chiefs are going to trade for Hunter.

I just have this feeling they’re going to get him without giving up their 1st.

Like I said earlier in the thread......I'll give them a 3rd this year and a conditional 2nd next year. I'm not anywhere close to wanting to give up #30 for him.
