Seriously, could you **** the **** off bringing your reeruned DC beef into one of the most active threads in the lounge?

Age does have a few contracts that if traded/cut could free up some money to bring in help.

So to answer your question he makes both Prince and Niang part of the 53 and then trades Prince for a DT that would fit about the same cap hit. Why is this hard to understand?

Keep Prince get rid of Niang and his brittle legs...

It's hard to understand because it's complete ****ing nonsense.

Chris should hold out as long as he can. Chiefs can use the $1M+ cap relief each week.

Does it work like that? cool.

This flip to "CJ sucks because he won't sign the deal," is pretty idiotic. Not saying Veach should pony up #30 million/year, but shitting on Chris after all he's done is the epitome of fair-weather fan imo.

I’m just tired of the drama. Honor your contact, then play stupid games.

I was laughing at his fantasies about Chris Jones' dick. Which goes for you or any other homos that make similar comments. Has zilch to do with DC. Maybe you should quit being a ****ing Nancy.

I mean, let’s be honest…

Say Jones holds out until week 8, then comes back and helps the Chiefs secure the #1 seed and another SB title. Then gets tagged and traded for nice capital in 2024.

Some fans of other teams will look at it in hindsight and believe it was planned that way all along to give the Chiefs some sort of advantage or salary cap circumvention.

Good.

Remember - we embrace the Black Hat. We don't run from it.

That's ABSOLUTELY what happened. Veach is such a damn wizard that he convinced Chris Jones to to set $25 million on fire (probably on the low end) so we could get a little cap relief. Then he dumped his ass for draft picks.

Because we're the Chiefs and **** you, that's how.

If I'm Veach I'm calling Monti Ossenfort in Arizona. The Cardinals are going to be god awful this year. The odds they get a top 5 pick are over 90%. The odds they get the first or second overall pick are at least 70%.

The Cardinals have 2 first rd picks, a second and 2 third rd picks as it stands. The likelihood that they get a top 2 draft pick is very high IMO. That means they can rid themselves of Kyler Murray and draft Caleb Williams or Drake Maye.

I'd ask for their 2nd rd pick and a 4th. That seems pretty fair for a 30 year old DL. And keep in mind that their 2nd rd pick is gonna be one of the first of the 2nd rd.

They won't mind bc some shithole team will give them a pick somewhere for Kyler based simply off his potential. They're already loaded there as well.

It makes a lot of sense bc Gannon is a defensive coach and is gonna want to build up that defense with a guy like Chris.

Does he have a no trade clause? Maybe he would like to play for the Houston Texans or maybe some other bottom dweller.

Chris Jones is probably my second favorite Chiefs defensive player ever. But, his tweets, missing the ring ceremony, and not coming back to the team once camp broke, has me ready to accept a trade.

LMAO I do.love the affable front Reid puts on. It's the perfect cover for how brutally ruthless he can be when it comes to the business of football.

"Haha fat guy like cheeseburgers"

*Meanwhile*

Cuts both Fisher and Schwartz with injury designations and tells them to GTFO

The Burnt Vreech era has taught me to not get too attached to any player besides Patrick Mahomes.

I really wanted to buy a Sneed jersey last year. He's one of my favorite players and not a jersey you see a lot.

But then I decided against it. He's probably not going to be a Chief for very much longer, and that's ok.

As long as we keep winning, that's all that really matters.

Oh for sure.

If you’re good enough for fans of opposing teams to develop wild conspiracy theories about you and how something is being rigged for you, you’re pretty damn good.

No one has any wild conspiracy theories about the Carolina Panthers.

Look at us. We’re the villain now.

Without Jones and Omenihu those first 6 weeks get even tougher. The Lions are no slouch, the Jaguars were a playoff team last year, the Jets with Rodgers could be something, and the Vikings should not be totally overlooked either.
If we can get into the playoffs, not concerned about the #1 seed, we will have a good chance with Jones and company then.
Don't forget if he shows up in week 8 it will still take him several weeks to get into good enough game shape to play up to his potential of last season. Then let us not forget that a lot of players get injured after being out so long.
