I get it though. It's like waking up Christmas morning and watching all the other kids get their new bikes, gaming consoles and IPhones.

Meanwhile, your parents are like, "here enjoy this ONE X-men action figure you got."

More like we're Jehovah Witnesses while the rest of the AFC comes from 2 Christmas divorced parents.

So does Robinson. I'll be happy with Juju but let's not act like Robinson doesn't also fit and isn't a flat out better WR.

I didn’t say he doesn’t fit. But the past shows me that Veach likes the younger FAs, and was going hard after JuJu last season. So it would make sense to me that JuJu is his guy, for better or worse.

Just be happy that asshole chose an NFC team.

I just don’t understand the fascination with Juju. Dude’ had one good year, 4 years ago.

97 catches and 9 TDs in 2020. I'll take that.

I’m not gonna lie. If we end up giving reasonably similar money as Robinson just got to a corner like bradberry, I’ll be a little disappointed.

It’s not a fascination. Nobody thinks he’s our savior, and I don’t think anybody is pounding the table for him.

But he was pretty good 2 years ago with an aging Big Ben at QB, and just kind of got lost in the shuffle at some point in a good WR room.

He was the Chiefs top WR target last year, so it’s easy to assume he could be this year.

It’s also becoming obvious that the Chiefs prefer guys under 29/30, and JuJu is still relatively young.

It just makes sense.

Do you see what was throwing to him??

I don't think that's good enough of an excuse.

Bad QB's generally force feed their #1 receiver the ball. Think Cassel/Bowe. Huard/Gonzalez.

The same guy that was throwing to Dionte Johnson and Chase Claypool to the tune of a combined 2,000 yards?

He hasn't been their #1 for a little while now.

Yep Veach sure can’t build a roster, it was all smoke and mirrors that has gotten us to 4 consecutive conference title games and 2 out of the last 3 Super Bowls.. JFC people, I think the guy has earned the benefit of the doubt.

Of course Veach has earned the benefit of the doubt.

But there is no way the Chiefs are realistically filling all of their needs through the draft and the urgency of those needs are heightened now with how aggressively better the AFC West and AFC in general have become.

We ****ing don't.

Why not? Why are we the only team that can't restructure contracts? And why is the Tyreek extension taking so long? That would free up space.

True story.

Who the **** knows? It may have been that if he agreed with us on a deal that we would have. I don't see Veach restructuring deals just to have the money. He'll get a deal in place and then restructure to make sure we can cover it.

What the hell did he even say? I can't tell if he wants Bradberry or not from that statement.

The Franchise 03-17-2022 02:10 PM

If we checked with the Rams on any of their WRs....I'd ask what it would take to get Van Jefferson.
