Missouri is a lock.

Played like shit on offense, played like shit on defense. ISU played well.

It shouldn't have even been close, especially not to OT. K-State got all the calls they needed from the refs and then some, and ISU still punched them in the mouth.

Been busy all afternoon with a break before next week, had many things to do and missed this game, WOW . :shake:

Roy constantly rides the short bus.

He's always a little late, pretty stupid... but at least he wears his helmet.

LMAO

team looked lackluster....think they took a W for granted. Frank got outcoached. Couldn't hit water falling out of a canoe. Just a bad day all around.

As far as seed, alnorth, if KSU wins the Big12 tourney (longshot) they would definitely be a #2 AND POSSIBLY a #1, unless Duke wins the ACC.

But he said Mizzou needed to win a game to be sure... they're in, damnit! :)

Lunardi has them as a 90% chance to get in. They are probably fine, but imagine if they lose their first game to Nebraska, the worst team in the conference, and look very bad in the process. Also imagine if we have an incredible flurry of upsets galore with teams nowhere near the field winning the conference tourney and shrinking the bubble.

Is it gonna happen? Probably not, and I'd be comfortable laying down $400 even at 1:4 odds that Mizzou makes it. (so only win $100 risking $400) But, it is still easy to dream up a reasonable scenario where they get left off.

Missouri should probably do everything they possibly can to win their first 2 and knock off KU anyway. If they only play to seed and get knocked off by TA&M, they probably get slotted into the dreaded "ejection seat" of the tournament (8/9 seed).

I suspect most MU fans would be glad to be a 8/9 and have that opportunity to knock off a 1 this year.

It wouldn't exactly bother me. I'd rather be a 10 than an 8, though.

Not sure what this is about? Wanna explain ?

A #2 is reachable if they make it to the B12 championship game and don't lay down and give up again.

I can't speak for all of us, but I'm just glad to be in.

Mizzou's style isn't something most teams are used to facing. Teams in the Big XII have had some time to learn how to attack it.

In the big show, it's all new.

Warm up the ****ing losing streak.

alnorth 03-07-2010 10:33 AM

All right I gotta know something. Which one of you cat fans are paying Lunardi? Saturday night he dropped them to a #2, but apparently this morning he changed his mind and decided that Saturday changed nothing, he still has KSU #1 in the west. (according to his sunday blog, which is behind the espn inside wall)

Now, I do think KSU is still a #2 seed, and they could still play themselves into a #1 (assuming other teams cooperate by losing next week) but #1 right now?
