But yeah, that's what I'd focus on as well. Looking for cut-back lanes and big gainers through the middle where our DTs aren't as great against the run and you can find a little more space to work and maybe isolate Conner instead of Reid.

In regards to our DT's....is it a coincidence how much we've seemed to improve vs the run with Pennell and Ferrell in there?

He's more likely to take himself out of a play and let CMC get into the 2nd level fairly clean. That's what I'd focus on taking away - how do we make CMC work for every yard. How do we ensure a possible 25 yard run only goes for 8? To me, Tranquill helps more than Chenal in that regard because I don't see him getting sucked up/away from the correct gap.

Leo is most likely gonna be used as a DE on some snaps like he was in Jacksonville. That's your first clue about Felix not being strong enough yet IMO.

Last year in the SB Chenal just killed the Eagles down blocks. They couldn't move him. He just kept shedding blocks over and over again. Guy is a hammer out there. I believe it was Chris Jones that said Leo was basically a DE sized LB with speed and that he was probably the strongest guy on the team.

If they wanna have Juszczyk try to clear lanes for CMC then fine. Spags is gonna throw Chenal right in his face, and good luck trying to move that man bc it's no easy task.

145 points allowed in their past 6 games (24.2 per game)

Chiefs
90 points allowed the past 6 games (15.0 per game)

I said this whole playoffs, that if we got past the Bills and Ravens the 40-whiners would be our easiest team to play.

SF has been shut down by every good defense they’ve played, minus Dallas. And Dallas always seems to shit the bed vs quality teams.

The two defenses they faced that were at or near KC’s level held them to 17 and 19.

Shannahan takes the decision making away from his QBs and their progressions don't require reading the defense. But this also creates a ceiling though, the scheme has to do all the work and it's harder to put defenders in conflict. Kurt Warner has been going off about this recently.
