Absolutely screwed out of a TD on a phantom penalty

NJChiefsFan 01-14-2024 11:39 AM

Did anybody notice on the zone play early in the game he settled down and then shuffled over to his left to find an open spot?

Mahomes zipped it to him. Showed his intelligence and also how much trust Patrick has that he's going to make the right decision.

Remember that literal guaranteed TD drop he had in the preseason?

Yeah I bet you forgot about that cause this kids a baller now.

Yeah, it's something Kelce does all the time. Glad Mahomes and Rice are forming that same connection.

Any doubt whether his ceiling was a legit #2 or a legit #1 was put to rest when he dominated his first playoff game.

He’s a superstar in the making, as is Pacheco. We have our next wave of being an offensive juggernaut coming next year when we add a few more pieces at the WR position to help out.

Drafting this guy from SMU of all places and having it turn out this good is amazing. Literally digging up a draft gem.

Excited to see what he becomes ...what a great season for him especially lately

He’s a clear cut #1.

This is how we draft all of our WRs from now on until the NFL tells us no.

Mahomes sends over an approved list, and we take our guy within the first two rounds.

No more Skyys.

Yes, it means we might miss out on peoples’ precious little T Boone Pickens from time to time, but we don’t need any of those head cases when we have an army of Rices.

Just need a second option guy, but we do NOT need to go crazy and mortgage the draft or the future, we just need a reliable #2.

What are you talking about?

I have it on good authority that KC needs to trade a first round pick for an established vet, they also need to take a WR in the first round, trading up somewhat if needed in order to get the future WR1 that they want, and they probably still need to bring in another established WR2 type...

...or KC will be wasting Mahome's prime years.

We need a legitimate deep threat that catches the ball. If we get that this offense will open back up and we'll be a scary offense again.

He’s been great and most importantly he isn’t a Diva.

I mean, we kinda do though. Maybe not go all out. But draft one in the first couple of rounds = yes and sign a veteran, yup.

There's only 2 receivers I want to see remain on the team next year and that's obviously Rice and I'd keep Watson but I'd like him at the 4th guy coming off the bench.

Agreed. Outside of Rice and Watson, there's no need to keep anyone else (that includes James, BWillie). I'm all for a vet replacement for MVS and another WR from the draft that the front office likes.
