I'm going to sue the Chiefs for hiring Todd Haley.

Look we all want a top 5 QB, Cassel aint that. Outside of of the premier guys, they all throw some good ones and get bailed out at times.

It's not rainbows and roses, but don't make it out to be a hickey on a hemorrhoid either.

The dude coached the Chiefs to a division title. Lighten up, Francis.

Cassel is Cassel. I would think that last year was about as good as it gets with him

When talking about Cassel, please don't ever put the words "Manning" or "Brady" ever in your posts, or in your thoughts. Thanks

This. I don't understand it. It's like everyone wants him to fail so they can say "told ya so." He isn't Aaron Rodgers, but we could do a hell of a lot worse. I'm rooting for the guy because I am a fan. If you are rooting for him to fail FUK OFF!!!

the past 3 pre seasons of my life are ruined. ruined.

Well, my final word on it all....Cassel is not the problem. Yes, I would like to have a better QB but I don't think he is near as bad as some are making him out to be. I don't get too caught up in the highligh aspect though. I just want the chains to move and the ball to get into the endzone. If Bowe has to make circus catch after circus catch to do so then I don't give a ****. I just want to win.

Exactly. Which is why next offseason we should be franchise QB shopping.

Lets be honest. Against the first team D he didn't do anything, and IIRC he froze again under pressure. Against subs he started moving the chains but didn't look crisp. It's not all his fault since he should have gotten many more throws in the first 3 games - that's on Haley's assinine offseason. Even on the play he got hit, he had some time to get rid of the ball. I'd give him a "B".

I think that play the guy broke a double team and Cassel was probably expecting it to hold. Yes, in hindsight he should have thrown it away.

We aren't in the Luck sweepstakes so that ain't happening.

I would rather Cassel succeed.

Yeah, it sure sucked going from 2-14 to 10-6 in 2 years!! It would be awesome to have guys like DJ and Bowe lounging away at "Club Herm"

I am with ya. He is who he is, and He is who we have. For that reason, I'm behind him.

And I do agree about Haley. Cassel should have had a chance to be more involved earlier in the pre-season.
