I’m ****ing ready for Sunday.
It’s been a long season to get to this point where it feels like the games actually matter. When you’ve had as much success as we’ve had it’s hard to get the juices flowing for a game anymore. This one is finally doing it for me. Even last week, it was one of those deals where it felt like a foregone conclusion going into it. A win was expected and a loss would’ve been a disaster. This is a toss up, legacy game against a worthy opponent that could go either way, with another trip to the Super Bowl on the line. Finally, here we ****ing go. Can’t ****ing wait. |
Speak for yourself. I was scared shitless last week LMAO.
Feel a lot better now. |
Quote:
But you're kindof an idiot. There was ZERO reason to be even the slightest bit concerned about Houston. |

What separates this week from last week to me though is last week, there just wasn’t a whole lot of satisfaction from winning, other than advancing in the playoffs of course. It was against an inferior opponent where a win was more of a relief than pure excitement. This game a win will feel much different. The outcome feels much more in doubt and a win is going to feel ****ing sweet if we pull it off. Such another huge legacy opportunity for the guys. I live for games like these. Gets me so pumped. |

I've said Trey Smith has struggled against Oliver and that's likely to be the key matchup. He undeniably has. I also said that it doesn't matter who we play at LT. I believe that's about all I've said on the OL. I don't think it will decide this game. I mean if we lose, the OL is who people will blame, but it all comes down to Pat being Pat. The OL hasn't been at the front of my mind at all. And it damn sure wasn't any sort of concern when we played the scrub-ass Texans. And again, I've said for two weeks that I wanted Buffalo to come out of that Ravens game because I think we're simply a better team than they are. |
Pat is due for a vintage performance.
Really feel like we might get it Sunday. |

Let's talk about the Bills - AFC Championship Edition
Quote:
This might be the sorta game it takes to bring it out these days. He’s seen it all so it probably takes a game like this to get him really fired up. This is to pass Montana all time for #2 in playoff wins too. Patrick knows this is a legacy/lore game that careers are born from, and I expect him to play accordingly. Met and spoke to a guy today who has met, played golf with, and hung around Michael Jordan.
And he’s telling me stories about Michael, specifically how competitive he was in everything he did. Then it clicked that this guy was talking about Mahomes too — he didn’t hear it that way, but I did. And that’s when I knew that this Sunday would be a huge chapter - huge chunk, of a kickass Mahomes documentary in the not-so-distant future. |

The more I hear every ****ing person and media member, talk nonstop about KC/penalties/flopping, I’m starting to worry the refs might overcompensate and screw us. It’s the only thing anyone is talking about leading up to the AFCCG. Hope I’m wrong, as usual though.

I think the recent Pittsburgh game was the closest performance to what KC is going to look like...it was a tune up.
I dont think that the WRs having 0 catches outside of Worthy was an accident...I think they played it close to vest..to a degree, against Houston. They had just faced them a few games ago...why show cards you dont have to? Nobody knows what this offense looks like, at this point, with Brown back in the mix...so how do you design a defensive scheme against it? It'll be interesting if KC lights it up on Sunday...or is still the prodding under-30 point team we've been watching. |
