You can say something similar about every new player at training camp if you want to be a pessimist. We won't know until we see the team play in preseason games.

Penn State football coach Joe Paterno, told by a teenage boy in 1976 that assistant coach Jerry Sandusky molested him in a shower, responded that he didn't want to hear about it and had "a football season to worry about," according to court documents unsealed Tuesday.

The boy, now a man identified as John Doe 150, said in 2014 that other boys in a shower heard him yell that Sandusky had just touched him sexually. He said he told several adults about it before seeking out Paterno.

You could argue even though he's on PUP he's still there with the team. Where as the others didn't even bother to show up.

Yet the one's he bitched about are on the field when it actually matters.

What other player on this team has gotten practices off during the season like him?

Meanwhile Justin Houston gets called "lazy" all the ****ing time around here when his injury was not only career threatening, but if not for the grace of modern ****ing medicine, the guy probably would have been a goddamn cripple the rest of his life.

So it takes him time to recover. And when he came back for the first few games of the 2016 season, he wasn't putting up consistent numbers from game to game. He's "lazy."

It's not just money. Tamba put Dorsey through the goddamn ****ing wringer on that contract. It's SEVERELY hampering this team, just as much as Houston's is doing if Houston is injured on the sideline.

Tamba said it wasn't about more money. He said it was about the game. Bullshit. If it's about the money, then just be honest. Nobody's going to blame you. If it's NOT about the money like you said it was, then take less money and make "the game" easier to actually ****ing win, you dipshit.

I'm concerned that we aren't hearing more positive things about Conley. Unless the goal is to prep Tyreek and determine which of the other guys will make the final roster...

Aside from 'reek, we haven't heard a whole lot about any of the WR's. There's been a little bit of Seantavious Jones. There's a lot of players who haven't had their names called in twitter.

Im not trying to be a dick, i genuinely have no idea. I know about the whole Sandusky thing, but heard little about paterno being involved. I didn't really pay much attention to the whole thing. Sorry if it came across as me being a dick, i honestly didn't know of his involvement in any of it.

I think it just gives them a chance to look at another guy while Jones is recovering.

Considering the number of defensive lineman they lost to injury last year, it's probably a pretty good idea.

After Joe's death reports came out that he had known about Sandusky since the (70's?).

He's a guy who was a salary cap casualty from the Jags, and the Chiefs decided to kick his tires.

Nothing to see here. Might make the roster. Might not.

I sometimes don't understand why not take less money from your franchise so that you can win some championships and then make boat loads of money with commercials and endorsements?

I will never fault any athlete (especially football players) for trying to get as much money from their team as they possibly can. Now, I can say your demands are unreasonable compared to market value, and I can say that I wouldn't pay the guy that money if I were GM, but I will never find fault with somebody whose goal is to get as much money as they possibly can.

I'm just looking for consistency. Tamba signed a nasty contract for this team to handle. Fine. Good on him. He got a lot more money. He wasn't worth that contract, but he got it anyway.

My problem is him saying, "It's about the sacrifice and love of the game... yadda yadda."

I think Justin Houston's contract is hampering this team far worse than Tambas... Justin has been an injury prone disappointment since he signed his deal. If anyone should be getting called out it should be Justin Houston, not Tamba.

Our group of Wrs is weak as hell. Not surprising that they aren't wowing anyone. It will be interesting to see what happens at Wr going forward, was it Dorsey that wanted to skimp at Wr or was it Reid?

Houston missed a bunch of games at the end of the 2013 season and then hurt his leg in the playoff game against Indy (where he had been ineffective anyway because his elbow wasn't right yet).

I like Houston but he hasn't been healthy for a single playoff game since he became a pro, which is frustrating, since that is when we need him the most. The season that he got 22 sacks, the Chiefs missed the playoffs.

So him saying he's perfectly healthy then A week later going on the pup is?

He was injured, the team elected to not do surgery so they could possibly get him back for the playoffs, then in February it's discovered that the knee ligament is unresponsive and they have to do surgery at that time.

Had the team taken the mulligan and got him surgery to be on the safe side in November of 2015, he would have been ready for Week 1 and in much better condition than he was at the tail end of the 2016 season.

In either case, he got paid, and the injury happened the way it did.

You give that player Houston's situation, and he's not going to come back any quicker or any more robust. No player should get blamed for any injury. That's clearly not their fault but it doesn't change the fact Houston has played in 16 games the past two-seasons and he hasn't looked like himself in the playoffs.

I tend to lean toward it being Dorsey as well. I believe the Green Bay had a philosophy of not going big at Wr. If so, then next year we should move big at Wr which should help boost Mahomes in his 1st season as a starter.
