Once again, **** Indy, and specifically Lucas Oil and their shitty deathtrap of a field.
Even Colts fans acknowledge the rash of injuries that happen there. If you think things are crazy here re: Alex and Foles, it's comical if you check out the Colts message board, where numerous posters are whining about Luck and calling for him to be benched. |

We shouldn't want Tom Brady because he's a great fantasy football quarterback?

We better fire every scout, coach, and owner that made that decision. |

It's just ridiculous that the Alex homers scream 'FANTASY FOOTBALL' when one brings up yards or touchdown statistics. |

I'm sensing a bit of moving goalpost on what we want out of Alex lately as well. For the longest it was 'I understand Andy's philosophy, Alex doesn' have to chuck it all the time. I just want to be reassured he's CAPABLE.' Then as soon as he demonstrates he's capable, it's 'where's this kind of output week in, week out. Is he declining? Has he lost is SINCE LAST EFFING WEEK/MONTH? Moar moar MOAR!!!' Outside a rough patch against a pumped Texans team and a SUPER pumped Steelers team, both early and on the road. We've had a pretty pedestrian stroll this season. Games haven't been super tight. Andy's noticeably put the brakes on playcalling to preserve large leads numerous times. The one time we needed and had a chance at a big comeback, Alex put on ONE **** of a show against the Chargers. Now we're battling injuries and getting back [or dealing with the loss of] historically superstars for us, as opposed to superior teams. So what is it, what are we looking for? |

230 yds and a td isn't enough to beat Pitt or NE. |

There is a lot of "trap game" about this one IMO. |

Reid will have this team heavily focused because of the injuries. Got to keep pace with Denver and Oakland.

Btw, Joe Flacco threw for 287, 3 tds and put up 27 points to win the Super Bowl. He was also the Super Bowl MVP. |

We could come out flat and get beat. It happens... And the same idiots would throw the towel on the season.....again. |

Some people around here would refuse to use Bo Jackson if they were playing Techmo Bowl because getting him the ball isn't going deep enough, and afraid to screw up your average yards per attempt stats.

I would love to have some Alex homer explain he just wins argument and justify Trent dilfer and brad Johnson argument.

I bottles the mind. Smith is our QB and that is reality. No matter what happens this weekend. This TEAM is 5-2 and looking good going forward. Smith is not the reason we are 5-2. The TEAM is the reason. Smith is part of the TEAM. Chiefs are winning as a TEAM. They are not winning on one facet alone. They are not winning because of Smith. They are not winning because of the defense. They are not winning because of the running game. They are not winning because of special teams. They are winning because of all of it. AKA: TEAM. Personally, with the reception rules being so wide open, I don't see the risk/reward of the "deep ball" as that good anymore. Pray for a penalty I suppose. This TEAM is more precise that that. eDave out. |

Now we find out if Reek can get open without others pulling focus.
He needs to be a receiving threat, not a stopgap gadget Ware replacement. Bortles is still going to be liquid ass, but the Jags D will likely come correct. |

T-minus 25 hours and 49 minutes until Nick Foles time

Hasn't he slipped and admitted several times to being bob?

Team effort. They have to grow as a team if they're going to be successful...just like the year we mauled the Pats and they went on to win the Lombardi. |

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showt...294862&page=10 People who say I don't know shit about football I invite them to read this thread where 3 weeks into the 2015 NFL season I was warning that the Broncos defense under Kubiak's guidance looked elite and even with a washed up Manning, were dangerous. Again, I was laughed at, ridiculed, and accused of being BlackBob. I sure as hell didn't budge. Unlike those who gave up on the team last season at 1-5, I was on here getting so much shit for saying that we were the best of the "bad" teams at the time and to let things play out rather than benching Smith and firing Reid. I get a lot of hate for being very firm about opinions and realize many get upset that I don't succumb to peer pressure. Not sure why an avid Chiefs fan who believes in the regime should be compared to someone who is unreasonably skeptical and wishes harm on its players. |
Yo Blackbob

"Nice going, Travis. See what happens when you don't drop it, butterfingers?" "Wow, Peters. How about you get toasted some more?" "What would we ever do without Jamaal Charles and his 1-yard carries?" And I have yet to ever see you joke in the same way about Alex Smith. Sure, you give him the occasional criticism, but you don't make cracks. He receives special treatment constantly when he's far from the best player on the roster. |

Ffs! We don't need a bunch of hall monitors. If you see something that is a problem, alert a mod, and move on. Let them do their thankless job and put the silly HS drama to bed.
