It's interesting to me that the Government is starting to trickle this stuff out.
Like "yeah, we know these things are here, we don't know what they are though". I kinda wonder though if it's not our tech that's been developed and the Navy doesn't know |
Gilbert Levin recently wrote a blog about that aforementioned 1970's Viking experiment for Scientific American: https://blogs.scientificamerican.com...-in-the-1970s/
|
I saw that today.
Pretty interesting read. Gotta figure there's something on Mars, especially if there is water. |
They’ve been hiding the truth ever since Roswell
|
Anyone read up on Hangar 18 and the "Blue Room"...?
Now that's some interesting shit. |
Spoiler!

Anyone read anything about the Devils Den down in northwest Arkansas? Some weird things seemingly happened down there.

For the Bigfoot heads -

Definitely sounds weird, but I've kinda moved on from Bigfoot. There's no way no one has come across a dead one by now.

I dunno, I'm just not that interested in it. Maybe there are "apes" out there that branched somewhere evolutionarily different than we did or something, but it just doesn't seem to be very likely anymore. |

Anyone know about or had any experiences with Roosevelt school in Excelsior Springs...?
Part of a paranormal group that is going to investigate it here soon, curious as to if anyone had heard anything about it or heard stories, etc. |

Pretty crazy NYT article.
Sorry I can't copy/paste, I ran out of my free articles for the month. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/23/u...reid-navy.html I was pretty convinced after hearing the Bob Lazar and Cmdr. David Fravor JRE podcasts and some of this shit in the article fits right in. You know neither China nor Russia have made any ****ing technological leaps. The only way they can keep up with us is by stealing our tech and being a decade behind. If they had the tech described in the article and discussed by Lazar and Fravor, they wouldn't need to steal our shit. I have always been 50/50 on UFOs but I'm squarely in the "90% chance the Earth has been visited" at this point. |

After further inspection - blimp. Probably.

UFO's are so smart they use standard FAA lighting.
or maybe the blinking red light was tied into the earths' magnetic field and was sending signals back to space! I was intrigued at first; then after a good look, I'm like.."you can literally see "Goodyear" written on it". looks like the text lighting the blimp uses was AFU |
Pretty sure that read "Ice Cubes a pimp".

My favorite book as a kid was 'Mysteries of the Unexplained' which contained most of the well known strange tales (like Flight 19), and many smaller anecdotes throughout history. I checked it out from Southwest High School library (65th and Wornall Road) back in 1982, and I still have it. I am a sucker for those dumb shows on Travel Channel, and it's my guilty pleasure. *No, I did not attend SW H.S. but I lived in that neighborhood. |
So Elizondo and Mellon have left TTSA, and now 'phase two' has begun. Whatever that means. I will say this, he's a really good ****ing interview...

anyone ever read the Missing 411 books? I've watched all the youtube videos and the movies. David Paulides is the guy that narrates the videos and he wrote the books.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/uPsWBCfTC70" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> I watched so many of those that youtube constantly recommends MR Ballen videos. Mr Ballen used to bite the missing 411 cases to make his own vids. he didnt need to do that though. he has some pretty good content that isnt related to the M411 series <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/DXmVMihzZME" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> its kind of messed up... youtube suppresses the CanAm missing 411 project videos but promotes imitators that lift content and add spin. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ODIGopvDSXA" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

If this is our tech then why do we continue to developed rocket propulsion to escape gravity to get to space? Or spend billions to developed submarines to navigate the depths.

This is coming from me a dude who has always been very sceptical of this in the past.

The problem is that I'm not really sure even our own military has full access to it, the agencies involved with controlling/developing this stuff basically seem to operate as their own government... a level of secrecy above even the president |

Been listening to the "Lights Out" podcast on spotify. It's on Youtube as well. Pretty good. More of a "rated R" podcast as they go into descriptions of some of these serial killers extensively.

Everyone who is rich has Gumby skin and can be turned inside out. Watch “Society 1989.”

My imagination getting all colorful and shit....part of me wonders if these UAP's really are man made....just not by the U.S. And the government putting this out there is to apply pressure and bring attention to another country...say...CHINA...who has this tech and we can't get our hands on it.

That said, man, they sure are releasing a LOT of videos and info on the UFO phenomenon lately. |

He also said that "These aircraft - we'll call them aircraft - are displaying characteristics that are not currently within the US inventory nor in any foreign inventory that we are aware of,". He also said that the information that's been released to the public to date only scratches the surface of what the government and military knows about these UAP's. I don't think they're "Time Travelers" from the future because that's absurd. While it's possible to "Time Travel" to the future when nearing the Speed of Light, which is described in Einstein's Theory of Relativity, traveling back in time just isn't feasible because time isn't linear, even though we count it as such. I've been interested in UFO phenomena since I was a little kid and have always thought it would be cool if there were alien visitations. But as I've grown older (and hopefully, a little wiser), I do not believe that such an interaction would be benign. There are literally billions of planets in the known universe so why would aliens send drones or scout ships to Earth if their intentions were for the betterment of mankind? I've read every book by Carl Sagan, who was hopeful that Earthlings might some day become Citizens of the Universe, which is a nice thought but I tend to agree now with Steven Hawking in the belief that extraterrestrial visitors would be the downfall of human civilization, at least until we've created the tech needed to travel at light speed, which I'm sure is at least a few hundred years away, if not longer. |
Oh shit... I made that thread in the Lounge without knowing this one existed here.
Why is this in the Media Center tho? |
Quote:
These UFO's are a perfect example of that. Pilots are on record having observed them stating that these craft travel in ways that defy the laws of physics. Has mankind reached a point where we can bend physics or are these visitors from another place or time? We (the public, anyway) just don't know that yet. Quote:

There have been plenty of scientists with theories of how to warp space and travel at light speed (or faster) but we just don't have an energy source at this point in time able to provide the necessary fuel to travel between the stars. All of our probes out there, from Voyager 1 and 2 to the current Mars lander, can only travel at a speed of about 26,000 miles per hour, which sounds like a lot but when that's compared to Light Speed, which is more than 11 million miles per hour, it's a snail's pace. If an alien civilization recently sent drones and probes to Earth, it's a safe bet that they are so far technologically advanced that we would serve no purpose to them, whatsoever and therefore, we would be nothing but an inconvenient hindrance to their goals. |
Who do we think we are, anyway? The human race doesn't posses anything of value to anyone else. Other than our planet.

When I think of aliens, I kinda picture it being thin like this figure in the video, it's most def. prob. 9.9/10 fake but it is interesting to speculate. |

Drunks go to bars. Kids go to toy stores. Aliens would naturally go to a planet that is similar or beneficial to them. We probably won't try to settle on Jupiter because it's a gas planet, life or no life. We might settle on Europa or one of the moons of saturn though due to how similar we think they might be. Besides 4 legged creatures can't manipulate the environment like primates can. Your method of locomotion can drastically limit your ability to manipulate the world around you. I would think living in a liquid based environment would limit you as well... |
