Folks in Bath feel strongly that LBJ will sign w/ CLE. LBJ's camp contacted cops hour ago to alert them of tonight's annoucement.
|
It's done deal. Decision will come tonight. Ohio security already put on notice and have ramped up security by Lebrons house

pen, at least credit all of these tweets if you're going to bog down the thread with them.

I have a semi anticipating this announcement. If LBJ goes back to Cleveland, I'll have to go to the bathroom and fap.
|
All of those idiot Cleveland fans that completely overreacted will possibly have to eat their words.

Akron News cameraman, Mark Amica, texts sources that LeBron James has chosen the Cleveland Cavaliers over Miami. #TheKingHasReturned

LeBronJames.com is down because of a coding error in the home page, which would make one assume it’s in regards to an announcement.

As of now, you would take Bosh and Wade over Irving and Love? Is that what you're saying? |
Quote:
Sure some of it was overreaction. It just surprises me that so many ffan bases pretend like they would have acted any differently. If anything, it speaks to the passion of the Cleveland fan base. Even though the cavs are repeatedly one of the worst teams in the league, they still have respectable home attendance numbers. |

A Tyson Chandler-type of center would do wonders. Anderson Verejao is not enough. |

Cleveland is LeBron's best chance to get more rings than Jordan or kobe, IF they keep wiggins and he is what they think he is.
LeBron could possibly lead them to a couple and when wiggins has matured he could lead them to a couple more as LeBron ages. |
Quote:
Signing Allen and James Jones would be huge wins too. |
He'd be foolish to leave Miami unless he's really insistent on getting max money from the Heat for the remainder of his tenure there.

Bosh might have 2 titles and 4 finals appearances; but if the other Heat player you are talking about is Wade - he has 3 titles, 5 finals appearances, plus a Finals MVP award. 2006 Dwyane Wade says hi http://www.palmbeach.k12.fl.us/Congr...ers[1].jpg |
u forgot a broke down ass body that causes him to miss half of the NBA season lately. Its not like he's had a tear in something. He's having chronic knee issues that cause him to miss games all the time. thats not good.
|
I would rather live in Miami from October to March.
|
Wade was the only one with a ring when James and Bosh joined him. Same situation as Cleveland.. LeBron will start out as the only one with a ring. Cleveland is younger, and has 100x more upside. Also one of his "current" teammates played for Blatt in Europe and thinks he's the best coach he's ever played for... Including their current coach in Miami.

Lebron has yet to miss more than a couple games at a time during the regular season. Has he missed a single playoff start due to injury? And that's for a guy who's been in the league for 10+ years. He's unbelievably durable when you look at the minutes per game he's had to play in his career. |

i was talking about wade. of course lebron hasnt broke down yet.
People dont think Lebron doesnt notice Wade is breaking down. This means Lebron has to carry more of a load. As good as Lebron is, eventually he will break down like everyone else. |

Ah, my bad.
Yes, Wade is very fragile. |

They will probably also swing some depth signings if LeBron signs. Hawes, Deng, miles will probably be sign and trades which might land a depth center. Which is why I'm not a fan of trading for love. Stick with Wiggins and find mid level guys to fill in depth and more importantly, veteran bodies |
Quote:
|
They've told Wiggins he isn't being traded. Doesn't mean we still can't land Love... No other team can trade them Wiggins either.
|
Quote:
Well, since everyone who's farted in the past 72 hours has been listed as a reason that LeBron is going to Cleveland, Wiggins being told that he's not being traded must mean that James is staying in Miami, right? |

If the Cavs were smart (big if) they wouldn't trade for Love. Sign Lebron, clear the cap space. There is exactly zero chance of Love signing long term with anyone if he knows there is space on Lebron's team next year. They'll still contend with Lebron this year without Love. Everyone gets acclimated and then you bring Love in without losing any of your pieces. |
Quote:
Griffin has been excellent this offseason so far. Fired Brown immediately, very shrewd in clearing cap space for Lebron, hired two very highly regarded coaches, and didn't screw up with the #1 pick. Even if they don't land Lebron, Griffin has moved the Cavs in the right direction for sure. |

Wade is standing next to LeBron at his camp. Clearly going back to Miami now.

That report was from Sheridan. It's been reported that Riley was not, in fact, alone, by multiple other sources. I quoted a couple of them earlier. And my point with this post was just to show that not every damn thing means LeBron's going to Cleveland, in the hopes that we could stop getting "LeBron's mother's cousin's brothers, best friend's barber said he saw LeBron in the midwest last month, so he's definitely going to Cleveland." garbage. Your way-the-****-over-the-top homerism is a hoot, though. |

But I mean if you do want to lay into Cleveland for drafting Bennett, go ahead. You just look dumb again because the GM who drafted him anyways was fired.
