Blaming Bill for players transferring/testing the waters is a little ridiculous. Half the players in the country are in the transfer portal and there will be more to come. Agents are trying to get everybody to test the waters and hunt for a bigger bag.

I blame Bill for the Flory situation. The rest I don’t care about. That’s where he potentially ****ed this up. Still a chance he comes back I guess but I’m not holding my breath

He has a generational talent coming next year, plus another top 20ish recruit. I'd say that's a decent start to the class.

The last few years, it was well beyond this point before they'd signed any transfers. I don't think it's time to panic yet.

By all accounts, Bidunga's camp was fully aware that he was raw and needed a few years to develop. They didn't expect major minutes, especially on a roster with Dickinson. Bill actually did him a big favor by giving him minutes at the 4, which he's not at all suited for.

Why is Bill to blame?

I wonder how long HCBS will coach with paying players on 1 year contracts?

He's not a fan of it and neither am I!

Before you know it, almost every college player is going to test the portal each and every year they are in college!

This shit is already out of hand and it's looking like there needs to be a cap limit!

Flory happy -> Flory stays

Flory unhappy-> Flory transfers
Flory unhappy-> Flory stays

Pretty simple to make a guess at the chances of each of those outcomes, and why you might want to keep him happy, considering he's the one person who could play a significant role next season... and on top of that, knowing that group of seniors wasn't going to win shit, much less make it out of the first weekend.

Don't want the players driving the bus, he could transfer anyway, etc etc... but coaches have less leverage than ever when it comes to doing things they've always done before and not adjusting on the fly.
