I was wasted on the 2nd day of the draft, and there was some balls-mazing late round draft hero that all of CP was pimping hardcore. When we didn't draft him, I yelled and cussed in the room and made everybody uncomfortable.

To my credit, though, Merritt had no business being in the NFL from day one. Couldn't even compete with the 4th/5th string slapdicks in training camp. He was that bad. I of course didn't know that at the time I threw the tantrum, but still.

Wonder what could have been had he not ****ed his groin against the Saints. He actually did flash quite a bit his rookie season. If he would have developed from there probably a top 10 RB league wide.

I still maintain that a lot of Chiefs highlights from early last season featured a lot of CEH.

He's not a bad insurance policy to have around if Pacheco gets hurt.

He showed good instincts last year. Hitting was his thing, so I think we’ll see a lot more of that as he becomes more comfortable in the system. I’m pumped!
