Not according to my Direct TV DVR. It's the Steelers vs. Eagles from 9pm-12am PST. The Rams vs. Colts is on from 6:00 to 9:00pm Sunday nights.

Maybe just set the DVR to record 7AM to 10:30 AM on Monday still just to be sure ...I dunno....

Well, there are certain local "rights" issues that come into play because technically speaking, the preseason games are organized, managed and broadcast by each team and not the NFL.

But I do agree that they need to iron out this issue. I almost purchased the Preseason Package for $19.99 last night, only to have a friend call and say "Don't do it. I just paid for it and the game is blacked out".

Which is exactly why I was stuck watching the crappy feed last night. Oh well, it was better than waiting until Wednesday.

I saw that, thanks! Although I'm betting it's the Arizona feed, so I won't see and hear the Trent Green-Paul Burmeister broadcast. I set it to record, anyway.

I like Trent as a commentary guy. Very smart and insightful. I'm glad Idon't have to listen to Jayice Pearson anymore. That guy was sort of annoying. The Chiefs television network or whatever its called, always has "technical difficulties". Every year. It's kinda comical at this point. Like an annual tradition lol.

I never cared for Jayice on the field or in the booth. Trent has some nice insight from time to time, although if he wants to pursue a broadcast career, he needs to work with a vocal coach to work on his tone, which is a bit nasally.

I'm not surprised with technical difficulties because the broadcast team works infrequently together. Live broadcasting is very, very difficult under normal circumstances. The network guys just make it look easy.

Lol yeah I really don't care about the technical issues they have every year. I kind of welcome it at this point. Its funny, and I didnt give a shit about that guy they were trying to interview anyway.

Trying to get the defense out of position is trickery? I think each team should tell what the other one is calling just to make it fair.

Knowmo is definitely a gochiefs mult.

All the local teams broadcast in preseason for every team are like this. They don't have the budgets that the networks do. They are all for the most part, homeristic.

Chiefs' 4th Down Conversion Was Simple But Effective

It wasn't exactly the gutsiest call but KC Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel went for it on fourth down on the Chiefs first possession of the preseason.

With KC driving down the field, Crennel opted to keep his offense on the field and go for it on a fourth and one. The ball was on the 46-yard line so, really, this was the right decision. But it was the play call, and how it was executed, that I really liked.

It was simple, yet effective, which seems to be a theme with the very little we know about Brian Daboll so far.

This is the initial formation. Definitely looks like there's a run coming with the Chiefs power formation here. But...

http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/12...wn2_medium.jpg

The offense motions out of that formation. Now you have an empty back field with five wide. Or pretty much the exact oposite formation of what they lined up in initially. This puts the defense off balance and makes them quickly process what's going on. And, as KC learned last night, making the Cardinals defense think usually results in very good things for the Chiefs offense.

Look at the middle of the defense. That's the key area on this play.

http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/12...wn3_medium.jpg

Cassel takes the snap and lunges forward, just left of center. Look at this screen grab and compare it to the first one. The formation moved a number of Cardinals off the line of scrimmage. Something as simple as changing that can make a big difference.

If you can see him, that's Cassel sliding in there between Rodney Hudson and Ryan Lilja. Branden Albert is there on the edge pushing forward as well.

http://cdn1.sbnation.com/imported_as...ium_medium.jpg Obviously, the sneak was more than enough.
As Mitch Holthus would say, another FIRST DOWN KANSAS CITY!
He didn't do it this time, but this is a normal Cassel reaction to a play like that:

I guess all the years Denver used the misdirection QB bootlegs was just cheap trickery. Why not just run a play in one direction? Faking a run one way and going the other is CHEAP. Trying to fool the defense is for pussies!
