In all honesty, I never cared to watch the Bears, but it will be most likely a down year for them since Cutler is getting a late start to learning the offense.

With NE in their division, they don't have the luxury to spend game time getting Cutler up to speed.

Good point.

Out of curiosity: would you say Cutler's demise was a result of his oline and receivers?

It could make an interesting race for a wildcard if he catches on sooner, rather than later.

**** no. That guy has always been his own worst enemy.

Gace was his OC 2 years ago in Chicago so the learning curve may be shorter than you think.

I was trying to pull that up; thanks. I could've sworn there was some familiarity between the Bears and the Dolphins. Could be interesting.

Cutler is gonna Cutler, no doubt. I guess what I am trying to say is he may not have been so much of the issue, as he normally is.

To me it came off as a combination of both. He didn't seem to have much respect from a lot of his teammates...leadership questions about him come off as being very, very true. However, the dude, for years has been running for his life right after the ball is snapped and when Alshon Jeffery was out, his receivers were absolutely atrocious. Didn't help much that Kevin White has been so injury prone.

This will be, by far, the most talented offense that Cutler's ever had in the NFL.

I'm not sure how he will do with the playbook...always heard that his brain was one of his strengths coming out of Vanderbilt.

It's the same playbook that he ran in two years while Gase was in Chicago, which is why Cutler is such a good fit.

Yeah, I think the dude found himself in an ideal situation... Dolphins could surprise people this year. It's not going to be a drop from Tannehill. In fact, it could be an upgrade.

Cutler's used to playing in cold weather games late in the season so the Christmas Eve game with the Dolphins at Arrowhead may have just become a little more interesting.

Or not.

Might be a significant Christmas Eve game.
