No. No it is not.

First of all, Frank Clark is still carrying a $28M cap hit for 2023. That's going to be much less, possibly as much as $21M less, depending on how his deal was renogiated.

Second of all, they will have Orlando Brown and Tyreek Hill under contract. Those deals will eat up cap space (likely about $35M or so), but subtract Clark and add those two and you're still sitting around $15M in space.

And Mahomes and Jones have $55M in roster bonus/base salary. That number isn't going to stay the same.

They can shift some of Mahomes' roster bonus and likely will. They can/will make a long-term decision on Jones (extension or cut or trade) that lowers his number, too.

And they don't have any "home" guys that they will likely retain/extend at high cost. Thornhill, maybe, but it isn't going to be a HUGE deal.

Predicting cap pain for 2023 is premature and off base.

You think that's scary? The 2035 Chiefs have NO players under control. If Veach isn't careful, they'll have to forfeit games.

For the Saints to get Allen Robinson...it would take a lot of cap work. It's more likely that the Saints get Jarvis Landry if they get Watson. They already have Michael Thomas.

Curious why he wouldn't want SEA with those WRs?

Makes sense for him I guess, he's also said to have ties to ATL ownership where he was a ball boy as a youngster.

This sounds about right. Really want to see what the structure looks like, especially the dead money. Still waiting for OTC and Spotrac to update the numbers.

This.

Not sure why this shit is taking so long. With a Mahomes restructure, we would be around $23ish million in cap space.
