I was actually just looking up bourbon wine cocktails the other day.... there was a New York Sour, but it was too sweet, IMO. Found a recipe that was basically a Bourbon sidecar with a little bit of red wine, and that one was a winner.

I feel kind of bad for using such a drinkable bourbon as Elijah Craig though.

That’s what an affordable bourbon is for, it’s versatile! Nothing wrong with that.

Currently, Longrow Red 13 Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon. Who knows what comes next? Got some good news at work today so I'm doing a tiny bit of celebrating.
