I personally think the chiefs will only move his money if they have deals done with players before Friday. Remember the chiefs have 54m in cap space next year with only 21 players under contract. Next year is gonna be ugly.

You are an idiot.

I just don't feel like repeating myself.

Twitter is full of morons so it doesn't surprise me a great deal that you continue to just mindlessly regurgitate their nonsense.

Sign big names? Probably not. But they aren’t sitting out of shit.

That’s Veach’s move to shut up the doubters. We’re gonna go into the season with those 27, plus our draft picks.... and win the ****ing SB!

Don’t know why you’re getting so mad he’s right. They can move Patrick money whenever deadline is Friday .

$54 million in cap space but go look at who's a FA. Thornhill and Hardman....and that's pretty much anyone of note. Plus they have an out in Chris Jones' contract if they want to get rid of him. If they bring him back then they can sign him to an extension. Plus I'm guessing Clark's contract is coming off the books as well.

Are you going off of overthecap? I don't think that cap number is accurate. They still have Frank Clark at his full previous cap number, not the new contract.

I think Veach got scalped by about $8 million from what I can gather.

I think the cap came in lower than even their 'conservative' estimates. And now they're scrambling.

So I bet they're hoping that next year is a bit of a catch up year and it goes up by more than it went last year.

But to be completely frank - every year is going to ugly for the next several. That's the point. As I've said since the Chris Jones conversations started in earnest - the league does not WANT a single team carrying 6-8 guys at/near the top of their respective markets. They want that talent spread out.

And they especially don't want it if one of those is a QB.

You just cannot have top of the market salaries for a QB, WR, LT, LG, TE and DT for any appreciable period of time. Especially when you WERE carrying top of the market salaries at S and DE prior to that which prevented you from banking rollover towards your adjusted cap.

You can shove 10 lbs of shit into a 5 lb sack for a little bit, but eventually it WILL burst.

There's a real argument to be made that it's time to stop shoving.

Yes but take away his money it’s gonna be around 70m for 31 players.

Offer him that three year deal and it gives him the security of having a place for the next two years. He'll be an in an offense with a legit QB and other weapons to help open him up. Plus a HC that's known for maximizing potential.

Juju gonna come here instead of having a chance to play with Turdbiski?

And then trade Chris Jones....and you have over $90 million. Restructure Mahomes and you have $126 million.

Yeah, you're out Jones but at this point...I'm not so sure they want him back after his current contract.

ShowtimeSBMVP 03-17-2022 09:44 AM

Lol 2024 chiefs 148m cap space but only 13 players under control. Boys we need all our draft picks. Need to stop trading them.

You do realize that's most teams at this point, right?

The Seahawks have $180 million and only 8 players.

Watson is reportedly down to the Saints and Falcons.

Get ****ed, Tom Brady.
