Alex Smith came to KC and took a 2-14 chiefs team that was the worst in the NFL. They were dead last 32 of 32 in total offense. When Smith took over they won their first 9 games, finished 11-5 and ranked #6 in total offense.

So he basically did the same exact thing Jimmy did this year but lost in the playoffs despite Smith throwing for 360 yards and 4 td’s in one game because the Bob Sutton defense blew the biggest lead in playoff history.

Alex did his part by fumbling the ball away in the 4th qtr and generally shitting the bed down the stretch.

Like I said earlier, I didn’t watch KC Alex Smith other than his playoff losses and a random game here or there.

But SF Alex Smith, I’ve seen more than I ever wanted see.

Harbaugh didn’t even really allow him to audible. If the play wasn’t there on 3rd down, he would just check down or take a sack. That’s basically what he was coached to do.

Jimmy G is WAY better than SF Smith.

You know what's funny? Not one of their great running games ran for more than a 100 yards.

So, instead of waiting, why don't you tell us right now what your first five excuses are going to be for why your great running game didn't run for over a 100 yards?

And please don't use the "the refs didn't want us to win, " or the "weather," or the oh-so-popular "our OC was trying to change things up," excuses.

They don't have to stop the Chiefs, just slow them down and then see if the 49ers offense can be more successful on the Chiefs defense. Big potential X-Factor for both sides will be special teams and turnovers. Gotta play smart and protect the ball.
