This. He is just uppity because his team beat literally the only team in D-1 football team worse than KU. They took care of business yesterday.

Don't see them sending two, but if Baylor wins out I do see them representing the Big XII. If Bama beats Miss State, they are in the drivers seat for the playoffs along with Oregon and FSU.

2 schools..no conference championships between them since 1968..one long thread.

No, I'm making fun of the Golden Flamers. Irrelevant for 20 years and no end in sight. I pray this type of fall never happens to KU basketball

Kansas refuses to act like they've been there before after beating Iowa State
By: MICAH PETERS 21 hours ago

Kansas football is pretty hapless these days. It’s been a dismal season for the Jayhawks thus far with six losses.

But you know what? They beat Iowa State 34-14, AND DARN IT THAT’S SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE.

I understand that there hasn’t been much to celebrate this season, but tearing down the goal posts after crushing a 2-6 team by 20 points is about as close as it gets to a textbook definition of unsporting.

Sometimes David fights Goliath. Other times, David fights David. Last night, David Lawrence defeated David Ames.

Sometimes David *thinks* he's Goliath, loses to another David, and is (for some odd reason) stunned.

7-2 and in first place. I'll be okay.

Bambi 11-09-2014 09:06 PM

In the new AP poll there are 3 Big 12 teams ranked before the 1st SEC-East team.

Missouri will have played 2 ranked teams this year.

Kansas plays 4 ranked teams (probably 5 being that Oklahoma is "26")

Bambi full of shit once again.

Between 1996-2014, Big 12 appeared in the National Title Game nine times going 3-6, with Nebraska, OK & Texas winning titles in 98, 01 & 06.

During that same time span, SEC appeared in 13 title games going 10-4 (2 SEC teams played in Title game in 2012).

Not exactly sure how that "percentage" favors Big 12 schools ??

The Big 12 has only existed since 1994. Thus their percentage of appearance is the highest. It's not that complicated.

Lol. Seriously? ND has played in a CFB championship more recently than KU playing in the NCAA championship. ND has far more influence on CFB than KU has on men's basketball. While they are not as dominant as they used to be, to be called irrelevant is a stretch. Try finding another program to knock.
