He should’ve made the catch. Absolutely no question. WRs are asked to make much more difficult plays near the sidelines than that under duress.

That said, it’s a sample size of 2. And it says something that he’s had that much free space both times he’s messed up.

Separation counts for a lot too.

Dude gets open and is good with the ball in his hands.

I guess not that it matters because when Worthy is open, it's while Mahomes is running for his life to the other side of the field.

He was open by 10 yards yet the pass drifted him too far to the sideline. It's on both actually. Hit him in stride and he scores

I agree he probably should have caught it, but some are trying to act like he can't make any kind of mistakes as a rookie and the best player ever is the one who started the mistake by ****ing up another deep throw.

He should have caught it... DHop would have pulled that down and got his feet in.. hell, Watson had some good catches.

It is okay, he is rookie, but this is clearly a place he needs to work on.

But I will say what he did today was encouraging. He needs some serious work though getting both feet in bounds.
