Don't care if this a Q in a megathread, it deserves another viewing... Eisen just lays out Mahomes greatness like I've maybe never seen before

8-2 coming from behind in the playoffs, best ever

Skyy has been activated. Hmm...

1. Pat has the most SB game experience going into a SB (three games under his belt) than ever before

2. Pat has played more times at the stadium this SB will be played at more than any SB he's played in previously (four times in vegas). The others he's played at once (Tampa & Arizona) or never (Miami)

3. Pat has played SF more (three times) than any other SB opponant he's faced thus far (all the others he played once previously)

Whether these factors make a difference in the game remains to be seen. But I'd like to think the vast experience of playing in SB's, playing in Vegas and playing against SF will allow Pat to be the best version of himself.

I doubt he plays a snap unless we're down like 2-3 receivers mid-game.

I'd rather have Buck and Aikman than Nance and Romo.

The latter has just gotten so disjointed. It's like they've just quit preparing and I dunno if Nantz is just over Romo or what, but their interplay is awful these days.

Honestly my favorite may be Ian Eagle and Charles Davis these days. If Olsen would stop bitching about flags thrown/not thrown then I'd like Olsen and Burkhardt quite a bit but Olsen's constant criticisms of officiating (and the narrative it creates) bother me.

Just let Harlan do it. I don't care who his partner is. He's so clearly the best at it. He strikes a perfect balance between enthusiasm and polish. He's not stuffy like Buck or insane like Gus Johnson.

Might get things thrown at me and it seems no one wants to admit it, but Buck has improved significantly starting from about 2010 onwards.

I would absolutely prefer to listen to Joe Buck over Romo or Collinsworth at this point, which is a place I never thought I'd be.

If he is active on Sunday it will be for his blocking. He is a really good run blocker, I know, but... I think they will use him primarily on running plays. I trust that Andy knows best.

Id agree if it wasn't for his God awful call of Damien Williams immortal TD run.

He won't get another snap until '24 at best, and maybe not even then

I don’t like him but, like Toney, I think we bring him back on for 2024 and give him one last shot to earn a roster spot.

So both Kittle and Armstead were limited today. Kittle's toe continues to be an issue it seems. Armstead picked up his injury during practice last week.

Where are the Niner fans?

I've been told Kittle isn't practicing much to avoid inflamming the toe. In any case, i doubt he's even 80% come game time.

I wouldn’t mind Moore being on the field in limited situations. I just don’t need any snaps from Toney. Before he was effectively benched I posted that I felt he was just chaos on the field no matter his job each play.

Mahomes had to pay extra attention to anything he was doing, whether to run the special play for him and making sure he was in the right spot, or if he ran routes and Mahomes was probably either actively avoiding some parts of the field so he didn’t accidentally throw it to him or giving a double take in his mind before throwing to him. Everything was just so forced with Toney and the offense as a whole never looked comfortable.

Thanks for the info. No doubt he plays but Kittle only had two targets last game and hasn't practiced fully since then so this might be a longterm issue he's been dealing with. I agree I doubt he's 100% on Sunday if they are still holding him back now.

Luckily, on that particular call, Mitch made up for it with an all-timer (maybe the best call of his career, to be honest).

But credit where credit's due, Buck's "The Chiefs need some Mahomes magic" has lived on in my head since the moment I heard it.
