What I don't get is for as brash of a personality as Deion is, he's not stupid and he KNOWS how the NFL works.

He wants his kid to get drafted and yet he did abso****inglutely nothing to pull him aside and say, "The crusty owners and the crusty GMs they hire won't like it if you don't sell them on your work ethic and team centeredness."

Deion probably views Shedeur like a younger version of himself. Deion was brash and showy. But he also wasn't a quarterback. And he was a clear-cut top-end physical talent. QB is a different gig with a different set of responsibilities.

Some team will sign him as an UDFA, let him play in some preseason games against real NFL talent.

I can't really hate on the guy. He played in a meaningless bowl game and he didn't have to. I absolutely despise guys who do that. You can get insurance for the game and the team will even pay for it. Sitting out is the definition of selfish. Shadeur didn't do that.

I think this has more to do with his daddy than him.
