Can't wait to see it on Thursday, thank god it's finally here. In Veach We Trust!

Also okay with an OT — the value proposition is so high and with Taylor being in his last year I can see the need even if new guy works out at LT. Really anyone who is a solid player is A-OK by me. They’ll take a DE, DT, CB, S, TE, OL, and maybe a RB. |

I very much doubt the Chiefs trade out of the 1st round. |
If we did take a corner, I hope we would take the next Darrelle Revis

Schefter said today that the Saints are really interested in Jaxon Dart and are very interested in moving up at the end of rd 1.
Ravens did this to get Lamar in 2018. Sent a 5th and a future 2nd for the Eagles to move down from 32 to 52. Saints are at 40 so it would probably be a 5th and a future 2nd. If the board is bare and we are stuck like 2023 I’d take that deal |
Yeah feels like we're either moving up or moving down.
Who knows. |

The caveat being that Starks could easily be one of the handful of '1st round grades' they have in this draft. And if they only have 13 guys with that grade and one of 'em makes it to 31, position isn't gonna matter much to them. It's like DT in that regard -- I don't think they put a lot of value on the position (for now) but I also think that if Nolan or Harmon get to them, they'd take 'em because the value of the player overrides their relative indifference to the position. And just like adding Pennell won't make a difference in that line of thinking, I don't think adding Edwards will either. It's just a pure talent pick from their perspective rather than one based on position. Especially when they use their safeties as swiss army knives -- if they'd be interested in a CB with that pick, they'd be interested in Starks as well if he were there. Because of what he would free them up to do with the rest of the DBs on the roster. |
Historically Spags has never been as high on DT as he is on Corner and DE. Has never drafted one in the first rd as a HC or on a team as a DC.
That’s another reason why I think that Rd 1 is leaning offense. Rd 2 has a lot of excellent DT’s, some I would argue are as good as Kenneth Grant. It feels like they are gonna go after a tackle in rd 1, be it Simmons or Conerly. And goddamn if I’m Veach and those guys are gone, I’m probably taking Burden bc of this below average WR class after rd 1. |

Move up Move down Draft a DT, DE, OT, RB, TE, or CB Make a procedural blunder and lose the pick Basically anything is possible except we're probably not drafting a QB, LB, S, or OG. |

It definitely feels like we are moving up or down or staying put and drafting someone. This is why I come here, to illuminate things for me |
