People hated Frank Clark and Jawaan Taylor.

Get a flurry of value guys like we got with Juju, Tranquill, Reid, Donovan Smith, Jerrick McKinnon. Make sure you get that 3rd rd comp pick for Trey Smith

if clark was a ufa signing he probably wouldve been way less shit on, we traded a lot for him lol

This is just a left tackle chart.

You can't be explosive on offense if you don't have time to throw.

This could be already fixed by getting Rice back, and Worthy being familiar with the offennse.

Bring
Bring Brown back and maybe a third down RB and it is not the playmakers that are the concern.

They wanna cover and "operate in space" due to spread offense and RPOs? Fine!! Sick some corn-fed OL on'em and let those two backs stick a shoulder in the leftovers! Now everybody's in the box, allowin' Mahomes to feast on that secondary.

Chiefs lookin at this kid....

Cats out of the bag on Ty Johnson. He will cost, I think.

Chris Meck 03-01-2025 04:29 PM

I'm not paying for a RB.

Draft 'em, run 'em into the ground, replace 'em.

Unless you get one that's REALLY special, transcends the position...nope.

staylor26 03-01-2025 04:40 PM

I don't see much in that market.

Ty Johnson and Rico Dowdle are the only guys that intrigue me. I wish Warren wasn't a RFA.

Kenneth Gainwell would be really good here IMO

Sassy Squatch 03-01-2025 05:02 PM

Time for that was last off season. Grab a high end in Day 2 and a project late and let's get er goin.

Warren would be the guy to get. I think PIT is going to tag him with just ROFR original round tender (He was a UDFA so no draft cmp). He might be worth trying to sign out from them anyhow, but they can match.

I'm somewhat interested in some fliers on Elijah Mitchell and Travis Homer. I know Homer hasn't been much but his speed in this offense, ability as a receiving back, and his pass blocking could be a fun low-cost chance.

If you’re looking to add speed and explosion back into the backfield, Warren isn’t the guy for that. He’s closer to Hunt and Perine than anything.

Could work out well if Pacheco returns to form but many here seem to have given up on him in a starting role.

Pacheco has never been an every down back.

Neither are guys like Ty Johnson and Rico Dowdle.

Jaylen Warren could probably fill the role, but like I said, he’s basically Perine at this point.

RunKC 03-01-2025 05:13 PM

They’re not trusting rookies on 3rd down, especially early.

Watch Perine. You need to be able to block or you’re a 2 down back here. Even Pacheco didn’t get that opportunity for a while as a rookie and he’s a big RB compared to the rookies we are talking about.
