Yeah I remember that fight being a dud. It felt like they were both trying to get through it without getting hurt. Maybe I'm naive but I just feel like they're both motivated to try. Even if it means Tyson exposes Paul quickly because of his inexperience or Paul wallops Tyson immediately because tysons old that would still be a hell of a lot of fun to watch

Mike's head was a mess 20 years ago. It doesn't appear that it is a mess today.

Rewatch that fight at 3/4 speed. Watch Tyson's hips when he throws punches. He's playing tag. He's not trying to hurt Roy. In fact, I'd go as far as to say he carried Roy from pretty much the 1st rd. Imo, he could've dropped Roy at any time during that "fight."

Can't say that I know shit about boxing, but when I watched a few rounds of Paul vs Tommy Furry it sure looked like Jake Paul had a clue and could box. Based on that fight the best case scenario is Tyson survives. Worse case scenario it Paul knocking out a legend of the sport and then talking shit to Tysons people and acting like he's Canelo. Will be infuriating. Tyson must really need the money.

This would be so much better if it was bare knuckle fighting. These two are going to be wearing king size pillows on their hands.

Somewhere between the 3rd and 4th rounds. Tyson will open a cut above Paul's left eye. And by the 5th it will be stopped.

Watch it again. Paul is literally looking at the canvas when he throws his punches, which is why so many miss. Then compare that to Tommy Fury; he’s looking his punches in. Which is why Tommy is able to split Jake’s gloves repeatedly. And Tommy isn’t a great boxer. Better than average at best.


Paul’s a brawler at best, not a boxer. He belongs in those old Toughman contests.

I loved watching Mike in the 90s. Most fun I’ve had watching boxing or UFC or anything related to fighting, but this is bleh

Its a sanctioned fight that will go on Tyson's pro record. I don't see him not taking it serious.
