St. Joe report 7/20/23

Apparently there was a high speed chase through the city yesterday evening. It was reported that a woman in the fleeing vehicle was shooting at police. This is a pretty rare occurrence in St. Joe, if you can believe it.

I drove past Khols and Chipotle while making a Target run. Didn't see any Chiefs players.

Saw a guy who remotely reminded me of Hugh Douglas while getting gas, but turns out his name was Demarcus. He was just passing through town on his way to run a train on Clay's GF.

The only situation where I've ever seen two Johnsons successfully swapped with nobody noticing was in an adult film. Even then, I think she was acting.

I was told here on CP that Dave Merritt was a terrible DB coach and our secondary would be complete shit once Sam Madison Jr left.

Mike Merritt is a terrible football coach, his brother Dave is pretty good though.

it's actually insane how well they have drafted on defense over the past 4 or 5 years. We signed a couple of free agents that should start or see significant playing time, still not sure what I'm expecting from that linebacker but Omenihu and Edwards should be good starters/contributors. The rest is all draft picks that are starter/probowl quality.
