I wrote tons of poetry and short stories growing up. Kind of lost the vibe the last 10 years or so.

Was there a banquet or something in 2001 for the foundation? I remember my dad and tommykat going to that. I think it was a bit fancier though?

I kind of found what I used to write about all the time. Mostly acceptance and finding love. I've found that the better my self-esteem got, the less I wrote. I really should try some short stories. I could try to write one for my kiddo to enjoy.

Wild to think that 17 years ago this month, ChiefsPlanet became a thing... that was an interesting transition. I didn't have much NOOBness then, mine dates back to the KC Star, just a different experience.

I think the karaoke was the following year, but I can't be sure.

The main thing I remember from that night was KcMizzou getting hammered and running off. :D

Now that you're happy and have kids is the perfect perspective to take.

I never got hazed too bad when first starting up, because Weirdwolf invited me to join up. For a long time I had my own website www.georgeblowfish.com which has since been retired. I had a whole section about the Chiefs on there. That's how CP discovered my site. I've had more problems with some of the numbskulls in the DC section than anything else. I just pop into DC every once in awhile until I feel like I need a shower.

I lurked and finally made a new account in 2006. At first, I thought Bwana was stalking me. I accidentally found my rep, read his pos rep posts and didn't know what the hell it was or why this guy was sending little notes.ROFL
