We aren't going any where with smith. Defenses have to play the whole field against Foles. I'll take my chance with Foles.

Maybe so. But you don't replace Smith because he went out with a concuss. Foles was playing way beyond himself. He'll come back to earth and the Foles. The Foles that is a backup.

Alex better hope he can play next week. Nick Dynamite is going to stir up a controversy here pretty quick. He's got a much more live arm than Alex does.

Foles and Smith are about the same level of QB.

Since Alex Smith is no longer using his legs, we might as well roll with Foles for awhile

49ers replaced smith with a concuss and made the SB that year.
