Whichever one the wife wants me to wear.

Man my Burberry Summer is starting to smell different and look like hangover piss. Does cologne go bad?

I have like $500 worth of cologne i bought back in 2009 and I'd be kind of upset to toss it all.

Could be wrong, but I don't think so

I got a 3 pack of different Polo styles for Christmas like 15 years ago, and they all still hold up

Yes it does....once opened up a 10 y/o bottle of English Leather. It stunk up the house for 2 hours

It doesn't smell bad, just off. Like a stronger chemical-y scent than what I remember. The other's smell fine. The Bleu de Chanel cologne I have is like $140 a bottle. I especially don't want to toss it.

Betting that there are certain ones that will stay good for a while...especially ones like Polo.

The real question is whether you would wear it as a cologne in the present state.

I wore it last night out to dinner with my wife and she seemed to like it still, so I suppose it still has its function. I just thought it smelled different.

Yes, there is a website where you can check if your product is still within usefulness.

I have a bottle of Marc Jacobs which I kept that is definitely past expiration but it still smells nice but more like a spray than a cologne.

I normally use everything I buy new now within 8-12 months.

Main thing to remember is not to buy product already past date.

Pretty nice, mild smell there. I like Margiela’s Jazz Club a shade better for its spicyness and bourbon smell, but it has a little bit of the ‘by the fireplace’ vibe.

I have way too many choices for nighttime colognes. The only daytime, summer one I use is Laurent’s La Nuit De L’homme. High recommend that little elixir.

I'm not a cologne guy at all. My everyday look is geared more towards Clubman Pinaud but occasionally I'll have to attend a nice dinner or something

I feel like all Dior's work better for me during the winter, just something about their core scent

Honestly its so dry out here in the desert that I'm more of a fragrant moisturizer person now since I'm continually applying SPF. The smell of any cologne when its 100+ degrees out makes me start dry coughing, its not built for that

Give L’Objet’s soap and moisturizer a try. Bois Sauvage is my favorite.

I'll definitely look into it, thanks

My wife is a total med spa person and the background music for my entire life is her social media skincare videos blasting. So I pretty much just use whatever is in one of the dozen Amazon boxes that show up here weekly along with the "and I got you something!"

Maybe I can impress by picking something out myself
