He problem is, Salvy's plate discipline problems are nothing new. His backup is a veteran who could at least lay down a bunt.

No, but you could easily predict it was going to happen. Sal has gotten progressively worse at swinging at pitches out of the zone, and Gregerson has a nasty slider.
