Now if only there was someway to make Duke and Purdue lose....

#5 Duke plays Tulsa and Virginia. :wank:

#3 Purdue plays #14 Michigan State this week on Sunday. That'd be nice if Purdue dropped behind us. They also play Minnesota on Wednesday.

#4 Syracuse plays #8 Villanova, but that upset may bite us in the ass, as I could see Syracuse staying above us and Villanova possibly jumping us. Syracuse also plays Providence on Tuesday.

I'd like us to be as high as possible going in to Lawrence (duh) so we don't drop out of the 2 seed conversation. At 6, a loss might do that to us if we don't clean up in the big 12 tourney.

But if we win in Lawrence........... yowzas.

Tech and Mizzou first tho. Let's just power through this week, baby.

One of the other teams vying for a 2 seed, Huggy's WVU, picked up another loss to a scrappy UConn. That can't hurt.

Here's a funny little factoid of the day for you wildcat fans to think about until KU wins again.

What if K-State wins out, KU loses out, and both finish tied? Who gets the #1 seed?

They would literally have to flip a coin. KU and KSU would have the same record against the same teams in the entire conference, there would not be a multi-team tiebreaker, and they dont have "strength of victory" or "points scored/against" tiebreakers in basketball.

Might want to re-word that professor... KU would be 29-1 and KSU 22-7. I dont think there would be a coin flip..

I have a good feeling about the game tonight. Upset Tech 81 Kstate 79

I enjoy that the little bro KU fans here have now expanded their basketball horizons beyond the usual "A game" stuff.

That's what us big brothers are for. No need to thank the EMAW'ers for expanding your horizons.

Tip off at 7pm in Lubbock.

Gawd, this game scares the sh*t out of me tonight. Lubbock (along with Stillwater) is pretty much the bane of K-State. I'm hoping the 'Cats pull it out, but am not willing to make any predictions on it.

TT is that way for KU also... I hate playing out there!

kstater 02-23-2010 07:06 PM

The dozen fans in attendance are making quite the ruckus.

kstater 02-23-2010 07:08 PM
