Saying Pioli has the job is obvious wishful thinking, but then if all of the information is correct, the Chiefs know they have the guy they want - Pioli or some other guy.

Huh?

Has it been answered.

Why would Pioli leave the Pats?

The pride thing? Trying to build up a turd into a contender to show his muscles?

GM search looks to enter another week
The Chiefs will end the week, and most likely start another, not yet knowing (or announcing) who their new general manager will be.
The team has scheduled no news conferences or announcements for Friday, and as time ticks away on the workweek, it appears more and more like an announcement would come no earlier than next week.
The team is unlikely to schedule any announcement for the weekend, for risk of upstaging the NFL playoffs.
New England vice president Scott Pioli interviewed with Chiefs chairman this week, and rumors have circulated that the sides are close to a deal. The Chiefs are keeping things quiet, and Hunt has authorized only himself to comment publicly about the GM search. He hasn't confirmed interest in any candidate or suggested an announcement could come any time soon.
As of now, the Chiefs seem Pioli's most likely destination if he chooses to depart New England after nine years and three Super Bowl wins. He reportedly is Kansas City's top choice to replace Carl Peterson as GM.
Pioli also interviewed with Cleveland last week, but it became far less likely Pioli would wind up with the Browns after the team hired Eric Mangini as coach this week.
Several others, including Tampa Bay personnel man and Lawrence native Mark Dominik, have been mentioned as candidates for the Chiefs job.

Ok gang, as many of you know, I just went to the bathroom and took a long Pioli. I think I drank too much water.

Okay gang, as many of you know I still have friends at the highest level in the Chiefs organization and have this info to share with full confidence: Scott Pioli is the new GM. His announcement will come Thursday or Friday at the latest. Clark and Scott are working out the finer points of his contract tonight (money & control), but the deal is sealed. Also, Clark informed Herm Edwards and his coaching staff that they will be released. All assistants can reapply through Scott.

I only share this information because I'm no longer with the team and it's fun to share that a new day is dawning at Arrowhead. Scott Pioli will quickly move to clean out the front office and hire a new coach.

The only info I have on the new coach is it will not be Kirk Ferentz from the Iowa Hawkeyes. Kirk coaches his son at Iowa and does not want to leave until his son graduates.

Mike Shanahan has contacted Pioli, but I don't know any info beyond that.

Will Scream at your obnoxious kids in trade for light yard work.

Are your kids driving you crazy?
Are you in need of some relief?

Are you handy with an edger or some trimming shears?

Let's trade!

I'll bawl out your unruly tribe. In return, you can help with some light yard work.

What say you?

To the older woman watching me buying condoms - m4w

I was the 20 something guy holding two bottles of chardonay in the condom section of the Dominick's. You were the lovely lady in her 50's peering over my shoulder as I made my selection. I was not aware of your presence until the audible gasp when I reached for a box of ribbed magnums. My date did not go exactly as planned; the wine went down ok but I forgot to use the magnums in the heat of the moment and I think I may have gotten the clap. Long story short I still have a dozen condoms left over if you are interested in going out sometime...
