Berry and Flowers know what's up....Reid does too, they are just trying to keep him humble

People underestimate how fired-up a legit QB can make your defense, not just your offense. Matt Casshole drained blood from many defensive penii on this squad.

It is 1st down and 5 at the Green Bay 8. The defense must have been thinking run since it looks like the Chief only had 2 receivers that went out into a pattern. I can't really see the second or 2 before but it looks like a play action pass. The linebackers and everyone bit hard on it. I was impressed with Brays ability to see that his first option is not happening and go to his second and make the touchdown. With Cassel he would have started shitting his pants and run into a sack or try to throw into triple coverage and get intercepted.

The second TD is good as well even though someone might say not because the defender fell down. But if you look when Bray commits to the pass the defender is still up. Bray was on target where as Cassel would have again shit himself and try to run the ball and 32 would have got him for the sack. Or he would have thrown the ball but it would have sailed out of bounds by about 10 feet.

A lot of us have been saying that a real strength of ASmith is the impact he had on the 49er defense because of his ability to keep them off the field since he is a "game manager".....

Second one is great. Great pocket awareness, subtle moves in the pocket. That's innate kinda stuff. Awesome to see.

But the first one? Sheesh, that was shit footwork.

But I thought a game managing qb couldn't do anything to help the defense?

It's not just TOP. It's taking advantage of the opportunities the defense creates. That makes a guy say, "I can trust this guy to capitalize on my work".

Well, not leaving the defense to have to defend the short field all the time will help that. at the very worst, make sure its a Colquitt punt and not a turnover.

The Mizzou homers putting their 2 cents in, I see...

Just watched the game again. Bray has 2x the God given talent that Smith has. Does that mean he should start #week1? No. But what that means is pretty boy Smith better be watching his back because let's be real...the guy really ain't all that good.

Why there is even a discussion regarding who should be the #2 QB on this team is beyond me. Chase Daniel sucks and shouldn't even be on an NFL roster in my opinion. It's almost as bad a mistake as this new regine has made as making Braden "****ing" Wilson their 6th round pick. I mean, for serious....these guys suck. Ge them the **** out of here.

Stone Cold.

Sweet Daddy Hate 08-30-2013 10:52 PM

The Daniel acquisition is the most stymieing move I've ever seen.
