Rouge sent me 4 bombers in a Styrofoam insert,
I think mailing booze is a state matter https://www.freightrun.com/blog/post...ol-to-a-friend |
It's only a state matter when referring to businesses shipping alcohol to customers. The destination state has to allow shipping there and the shipper must be properly licensed in their home state as well.
If I use the USPS to send alcohol to KCUnited, this is actually illegal but I am willing to take the risk. Since UPS and FedEx actually allow shipping of alcohol to private citizens through licensed vendors, a private citizen shipping alcohol to another is not illegal but still against company policy. When I started sending beer boxes all over, I at least wanted to know what kind of trouble I could get in. |

Can't believe he made the statement, and am beyond appreciative that he backed it up.
If anyone ever questions how good a dude O.City is, remember the day he sent a bottle of Pappy 10 - which runs a minimum of $500 on the secondary market - to a guy he'd met once in his life simply because he didn't die of Corona Virus. As soon as I figure out how to get it packaged safely, a bottle of Weller 12 is coming back. It's the best unopened bottle I have, and it's nowhere close to enough to repay you. Cheers, brother. |
