Solution? Treadmill trained his ass. I put him on there once a day or so at about 5 mph for 1-2 miles until that tongue gets lolling and he starts to tick his feet off the back of the platform. I wish it were a little longer so he could get a full 'leap' in at higher speeds instead of the fast trot that he has to do to fit on it, but it is what it is.

Sometimes he just pops right up on it and is ready to go. Other days he looks at it the same way I look at it - "nah, that sounds like a terrible idea..." but eventually he gives in.

The nice thing about the treadmill is that he has to maintain focus to keep from getting shot off the back so it lets him power through some of the 'working dog' instincts as well. It's a job for him and it will engage him.

Finally got around to watching my dvr of the 2020 Westminster Kennel Club. Watching a dog about a minute ago, the announcers are describing it and they say the dog is owned by Patrick Mahomes! He's freaking everywhere! Dog looks cool as hell, too. A Cane Corso with a massive-sized head and cool coloring on her coat.

Sorry about Meesh Meesh, George. I understand your grief. Just had a reminder on FB this of my first boxer passing 4 years ago. That made me sad. Our pets are our friends but it sucks that they are only here for a short time.

So sorry for the reason of this bump. Meesh Meesh is CP folk lore...and I know that you will miss him... So will we..mostly by proxy.

Ive got 2 and they absolutely LOVE the cold and snow.

they will go run with my Rott all day long in the cold.

Don't let her fool you. We've taken care of our handicapped child for 22 years and she has us at our wit's end.

Both of my boys died last year. 2 within 5 months of each other was incredibly difficult...but i got a new baby in November. Her name is Betty Blue, she has an Instagram page (mainly bc i didnt want to over saturate my page with pics and videos of her), and shes picked up the whole, social media thing pretty quickly.

So sorry for your loss Mr Blowfish... You were and am a great dad to your furry family..
