Lolz. This is just his second season guys. And the NYG kept Kadarius off the field much of this year for reasons other than his hamstrings. Let's not base a whole lot on such a small sample size.

Lolz right back at you...He has a history of being injury prone dating back to college. I think when anyone associates being injury prone, to Toney, it's a valid point. The upside still validates the trade, but his injury issues are very real.

Exactly. I also think there is more upside long term.

Lol, hilarious that you guys keep conveniently forgetting to admit that he did play an entire season in college. Why is that hard?

Whatever. If it makes you happy to be negative about Toney, knock yourself out. All I'm saying is that we could just give him a chance now that he's here.

He's been out 3 weeks, and according to both Andy and Toney he could've played last week. Keeping him out was precautionary by the Chiefs staff, not because he was hurt.

But if you need to say that Toney can't get healthy, I guess have fun with that.

Lol! It's even more hilarious that you won't acknowledge it. You have pretty solid takes most of the time, but when you're wrong, like this instance, don't double down on it. There's too much evidence to support the other side.

Except I have acknowledged it. Before the trade was official, several times. I just choose not to dwell on it, like some CP know-it-alls, I guess. you want to keep banging on something everyone already knows, go ahead.

But it's literally been three weeks, and Andy said himself Toney could've played last week in DEN. That doesn't sound like it's a Toney problem. Sounds like the Chiefs staff decided to keep a healthy player off the field out of cautiousness.

Sorry, that's wrong. I said something about his injury history after the trade, not before. Somewhere near the beginning of this thread, iirc.

Yep...they want him healthy come playoff time. They don't need him against Houston. Assume he plays against Seattle cause he needs reps

I had hopes, but the dude is completely too fragile.

For someone that acknowledged it, you sure are talking like you haven't, by calling out those who have acknowledged it...Yes, Reid is being cautious because he HAS to be with Toney. Seems to me like it's a Toney ptoblem, not a Reid problem. But what do I know? Because you know it all.

Offs. The entire thread is a retread of the same thing, over and over.

Carry on then. Rehash the same exact issue from page one. Again. I'm out.

I like the Toney of this tweet...

BossChief 12-17-2022 11:07 PM

If he’s fully healed, he should play.

The offensive/training staff sees Toney in (and after) practices, so you’d have to think if they play him, they see him as fully healed at this point. If the hamstring was still bothering him after practices, he wouldn’t be brought back. It seems like the hamstring has been bothering him all year. So this is a promising report.

TomBarndtsTwin 12-17-2022 11:16 PM

I’d prefer he sit another week, we don’t need him this week. Hamstrings are suck a tricky little bitch. That said, I trust our coaching staff and if they think he’s 100% and ready to go then so be it.

I doubt he plays more than 5 snaps.
