Had an Arrogant Bastard from Stone this week. First time I've had it on tap. Thoroughly enjoyable.
|
Just cracked the Hercules. I'm not even sure I'd give it the B that Reaper gave it.
It kind of tastes as if Boulevard's Rye-on-Rye and Lagunitas Sucks had a baby beer. Drinkable, but meh. Guess I'm spoiled. |
Yep, I'm spoiled. RateBeer gives Hoptimum a perfect score, I'm not sure I'd give it an 85.
Double meh, and $20 down the drain. Sticking to Two Hearted until Sucks is available again. |
Down the drain? Shit man, they're still drinkable! Don't drain pour 'em!

Either my sarcasm meter needs batteries, or you're taking things a bit too literal. They are certainly drinkable, I'm just spoiled. I'm also kinda pissy that Two Hearted is readily available while Sucks is not - along with my local favorite, Art of Neurosis from 2nd Shift. |
I think I'd reverse Reaper's grades. I'd give Hoptimum a B or B- and Hercules a C or C-.
|
Goddamn, what's the ABV on these?
Wow. |

I read BBQ is out in "mid-Sptember"... beer store guy had no idea, but if you guys hear specifics, please post. I have people in other states on hold. :D
Just opened a Rogue chocolate, banana, peanut butter ale... should be interesting. |
Stone Enjoy by 9.13.13 IPA. Fantastic.
Also picked up yet another bottle of Saison Brett 2013, and a six pack of Schlafly pumpkin ale. |

I bought a bottle of Rogue pumpkin patch ale the other day and it was very tasty. |
