IMOP the trajectory of these QB contracts is not sustainable (even for billionaires). I think they’re eventually going to have to implement individual salary caps by position at some point.

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, the Patriots spent more in FA than any other team last year.

You're reading it right. The Patriots have spent the least amount on FAs this past offseason/season.

We're just saying that the Patriots spent the most on FAs the offseason before this latest one and that's not something you can expect every year.
