@MikeGarafolo: The #Falcons are releasing CB Robert Alford, sources say. The 2013 second-round pick had 10 INTs in 88 games in his six years in Atlanta. Was due $8.5m this upcoming season. Figure he gets another gig before the start of free agency.

He’d be worth a cheap 2 year deal.

Do we really want to replace Nelson with another older 5’10” corner? Yea he’s cheaper, but I no longer want those mismatches on the outside.

Yeah, that's why I buried him at the bottom, but it's still a position you have to fill. And a lot of those guys are going to get paid huge.

One advantage to a signing like this is that it doesn't affect your incoming/outgoing free agency count, so it doesn't affect comp picks.

But I legit know NOTHING about this guy.

Also, PFF is dumb.
