I don't think there's anything there that says he doesn't hold himself accountable. |
Why does Dorsey get all the credit and Sashi gets virtually none? Yea Dorsey did all the talent evaluation but without Sashi to tear it all down there is no Denzel Ward, Nick Chubb or 90 million in cap space in Cleveland. Dorsey walked into a perfect situation because of Sashi.
Sashi did some innovative things in that rebuild that I dont see too many other GMs doing. (Taking on salary for picks like in the NBA) You would think that tactic would be used more, especially with teams sitting on a ton of cap space. Granted Sashi never got to actually evaluate talent and use the assets he acquired so we will never know what he would have picked, he did make all the right moves to get Dorsey there. I don't think Dorsey gets Denzel Ward and Nick Chubb on his own asset maneuvering. |

But in those two years, the team made no real strides. so far, Dorsey has averaged plus 7 wins in both of his first seasons as GM. He has his faults no doubt. But quick turnarounds are kind of his thing at this point. |

I guess my bar for being a douche is different than others. does he point the finger at teammates when he screws up? No. does he own his mistakes? yes. Does he act entitled? No. He's earned every break. Is he a lockerroom problem? No, his teammates love him. Is it the underage drinking thing? Because that's dumb. Who didn't do that? And the face plant when he tried to run from the cops is hilarious. I just don't get it. I just see a kid who's used to being disregarded putting his middle finger in the air and saying, " Watch me mother****er". I like that attitude. Especially when time after time, he does succeed. |
I'm all for an ascendent Browns team.
I couldn't care less about 'stolen thunder' Make your own thunder or respect the thunder of others. It's sports. Competition is its lifeblood. Foregone conclusions are boring Untested mettle is worthless. Give me Ali/Foreman over Tyson smashing a bunch of tomato cans any day. Mahomes has established his potential. Now Reid and Veach have to establish they can build a championship team, and I want to see them face real stakes against real competition. Actual personalities in the opposition only enhances the saga. |
Yeah, man. Why do people think Mayfield is a douche?

Mayfield takes what the media to heart and always feels the need to respond to anything negative said about him.
He’s not just a douche. He doesn’t know how to handle critics. |

One person's douche is another person's fiery competitor I guess. It's not like he threw a flag into the stands and ran off the field or anything. Or jumped into the stands to start a fight with a fan. He acts like a linebacker. if that's a number 50 on his chest, do you give a shit? |

People think Mayfield is a douche because he has a personality and isnt a robot when he talks to the media.
Few years back the winless KU football team wouldnt shake his hand before the game so he disrespected them throughout the game. I dont know if you've ever been in a KU thread on here but the truly are a sensitive bunch. |
