One one hand, epic fail on the part of the guys throwing the foam out and completely missing. On the other hand, I don't think 4" of foam was really going to do much in this case.

Also, did the guy in blue really think he was going to catch the wheelchair?

$100 says this was his 2nd attempt ever.

Probably one of the most amazing sights she will see, and she's sitting there reading a book?

Dump her ass.

We went to Zion NP in April. On one of the massive cliffs, you could see three tiny specks about half-way up. Since it was late in the day, you knew they were going to have to sleep on the cliff face. :shake: They have more guts than I have, for sure. It's also something that you are definitely committed to at that point. No changing your mind allowed. :)

The weird thing was the path they were taking. There was a huge concave section shaped like an inverted V about 2/3rds of the way up and they were in the concave section. This meant that they weren't going to be able to just climb vertically but were also going to have to work their way out of the horizontal section, too. *shudder*

Not to mention the book is just additional weight you have to haul up.

Hopefully the book isn't "Rock Climbing for Dummies".

Pretty much everybody, right? One thing I've learned on ChiefsPlanet -- it's ok for a guy to be afraid of crazy heights or a spider of any size whatsoever. :D
