I was sitting at one of our scanners to cover for someone during their lunch whenever I got to talking to the person sitting on the machine next to mine. We were talking about thinking too much. I sat there for a few moments, and realized I was thinking about if there was any specific thing that might cause a person to be like this. Is it genetics? Environment? The endless need to torment yourself? I shared this thought with the person next to me. I mentioned that we need to form an Overthinkers Anonymous group. I then got to thinking....The purpose of it would be to try not to think too much. What woud you talk about? Would you talk about not thinking? Would you talk about whatever you're thinking about?

Wouldn't that be counterproductive though?

Exactly. So what does one do in order to stop overthinking everything (as I tend to do)?
