Still made a nice push for Z Smith though. For a 29 year player who barely played last year, he still got paid pretty well. I hope he sends Veach a Christmas card this year.

Mostert following McDaniel to the Dolphins:

Would they take Frank Clark as partial comp in return?

Send 30 to the vikes for Hunter and their 3rd

This is where I'm at. Sign a few guys in green agency who can contribute the next few years. Reid is a great example of that, hit it out of the park with a couple of your premium picks, use the rest to build depth. Get your cap in order to retain talent, then in 2 or 3 years when a key contributor like Kelce has aged then use that money saved up to get a big free agent acquisition

Heard on the radio that KC might be looking at moving Trey Smith and his 6’6 320 frame over to RT and focus the easier path of finding a RG instead.

Thoughts?

No. Niang/Wylie is fine at RT.

I agree. We can’t keep trading first round picks for expensive players.

O.city 03-16-2022 07:29 PM

It’s pick 30

Maybe we can get another CEH

ForeverIowan 03-16-2022 07:29 PM

What kind of cap hit would Hunter carry in 2022? As others have said the Vikings have no other choice they have to unload his contract and soon. What other AFC contenders need and have the means necessary to go after him? I think Veach could pull off a trade for nickels on the dollar. I dont think it would take pick #30.

The Franchise 03-16-2022 07:32 PM

No to trading for Hunter. Just sign a couple of lesser known DEs in FA and draft a couple.
