That was a good read, Direckshun.

A couple questions, if I may?

1. Are we ****ed at WR? I'm very cautiously optimistic about Albert Wilson, but if he's your number 2 guy at WR....man o man.

2. Does Bray even have a spot on this team? I get the feeling that nobody around camp has any confidence in this guy, and if Alex Smith did go down, what then? If they truly don't think Mahomes is ready, I could see Bray playing 1 game, throwing 4 INTs and a couple pick 6's, then mysteriously ending up on IR or just flat out released.

I told you all at the beginning that Albert Wilson, the guy you all hate, is one of Reid's guys. The more you project him to miss the final 53 roster because you hate him, the more likely it is he's going to stick around.

I would rather have him on the roster than dAnthony thomas

Doesn't Albert Wilson lead the team in receiving TDs in playoff games for us

That's not my experience, or what I've been told.

Last year, they scrimmaged on the near field. And Terez tweeted at me, telling me they alternate the near field and far field.

I can sympathize with alternating fields, but if people are going to bring children 4 hours to see the Chiefs play, then goddamn it, use the nearside field.

My guess is they didn't want to tear up the near field since it was raining.

****. Maclin would have been so nice to have still.

TambaBerry 08-05-2017 04:25 PM

I hate this narrative that Mahomes isn't ready so who do they go to if Alex goes down. **** that, if Alex goes down or is sucking up on the field I absolutely play Mahomes. The guy is a gamer he'll be ready even if you had to simplify the offense. He gives us the best chance of winning in my opinion right now.

So a guy who has yet to play a down in the NFL gives us a better chance at winning tha a guy who has gone 47-21 and has the 3rd best winning percentage among QBs the last 4 years

Playoff record is all that counts, we know exactly what we're getting out of Alex. We don't know yet what we're getting out of Mahomes. Alex will get us to the playoffs and lose, might as well put Mahomes in and see what we can get

"But But, its a team game" only when it fits your agenda i guess.

Tyler Bray has yet to step on the field for a regular season after 4 years. Mahomes has already picked up most of offense and learns everyday not making same mistakes. He will get 4 preseason games and out beat Tyler Bray.

Who would you rather have back up if Mahomes beats out Tyler Bray? Tyler Bray?

That would be ****ing dumb and detrimental to the team. Guys will get hurt because of Tyler Bray errant throws.

Get a clue dude

If Reid decides to go with Mahomes, then I would say the answer is yes.

I was responding to TambaBerry who said as a starter Mahomes gives us the best chance at winning.
