As for "exposure", yes you now have more exposure in one quadrant of the country. Nobody outside the South however is watching any of your games which, come to think of it, was the same as before. But yes: you're picking up southern viewers who like their teams a lot and will watch them play anyone

I see why Rusty didn't want to post an article written later than September about the 2012 season.

Top 10 teams in the final poll

SEC: 5
Big 12: 0

Hell, the Big 12 only had three ranked teams total (including a 4 loss Texas team). It was the better conference that year, though. These things change all the time.

Whatever keeps you from swandiving off that ledge, I suppose.

It's amazing the mental gymnastics people will engage in trying to say that the SEC isn't head and shoulders above other conferences...right before/after swearing up and down that they don't care about what conference is the best.

Bowser 11-05-2014 04:50 PM

"I mean, Mississippi State isn't THAT great. Kansas barely lost to them in the Hall of Fame Bowl in 1981."

Pasta Little Brioni 11-05-2014 04:52 PM

The fact that they separate the weaker division from the conference even though in a down year is only SLIGHTLY behind the entire Big Bevis sad as ****. How pathetic would a B12 N be.

Pretending that the divisions aren't the same conference is cute...as if the two sides don't play each other.

That logic Didnt stop y'all from squealing about the orange bowl.

But yeah easy does play the west. 1-8 this year. I predict you'll snap Arkys unbeaten (sic) streak

Umm? I know you struggle sometimes, but we were talking about non con games.. Which yes are early in the season.

RustShack 11-05-2014 06:18 PM

There's no denying the SEC is currently the best. Big12 was the best at one point, and so was the B1G. It will change again just like it always does.
